How to make the most money "in an instant" - Late Game for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

How to make the most money “in an instant” – Late Game

Overview

Hey there, this tutorial is for people who:- already joined a kingdom- already own a fief (specifically a city/castle)- have at the very least 400-500 troops on very easy, 500-600 on easy, and so on troops (you should have militia in the town, the rest should be made up of your own stationed garison aswell as your own troops, plus other defending members of your kingdom)and want to make some great amount of money in the game. Be ready, you will need to fight.

What you need to do

Basically, you have to wait at your city for a while.
Waiting does usually not get interrupted by much stuff except for, you guessed it, being under a siege. At some point, huge enemy armies will probably create a camp in front of your city to take it over.
You just sit back and defend the city with everyting you got.

What is important here is that you have enough troops relative to the “difficulty” that you play on, and you manage to defeat an enemy army, you will get a HUGE load of loot.
Let’s say you play on very easy. You can probably defeat twice or three times as many enemies as your own number of troops. On easy, you’d expect to have at least 2/3 of that number of troops. On realistic, You’d probably best to have at least the same number of troops (pretty difficult to do, unless other parties happen to be helping you in defending the city).

The amount of loot you get is probably dependant on:
– the general wealth of the kingdom the army is from
– how many soldiers/parties are in the army, and the quality of their loot

This is the absolute fastest way to earn money in the later stages of the game. I’ve yet to encounter such an amazing gain in wealth.

My loot was as follows:

– about 100 horses of different kinds
– dozens of armor/gear pieces
– all of the food + other resources of that army
OVER A MILLION GOLD

Please feel free to share your outcome if you encounter a similar situation. Also, be careful, don’t underestimate the enemy army 🙂
