how to mod the sound files

Hello, today i will teach you all how to mod this game’s sound files

first of all get this program
{LINK REMOVED}http://www.mediafire.com/download/otkspx1kma19xss/hipster.zip

now open the program, you should see this window
[link]

go to file>open, then navigate all the way to your SteamsteamappscommonBlazBlue Continuum Shift ExtenddataSoundBGM folder

for the purpose of this guide, we are gonna modify tager’s theme with his theme from bbcp, to find a different character it shouldnt be that hard

see how this file ends with tg? it means tager, so that’s tager’s theme song file, so go ahead and open that

you should see something like this now [link]

right click on 25_bgm_tg.ogg and click extract, select desktop “for example”

after that, here comes the fun part, getting the replacement song, to replace this song, your song must have the same name “25_bgm_tg” and must end in .ogg.
Mp3 or any other file extensions won’t work

also you must make sure that before you convert your song to .ogg your source song’s setting must match these characteristics [link]

Now, to make the new modded sound file:

in the continuum deshift program, go to operations> create [link]

here, click on browse, and write 25_bgm_tg.pac [link]

click on save then click on the add button, search for your custom song “REMEMBER, MUST BE IN OGG FORMAT”, then click in OK, DO NOT CLICK ON THE GR CHECKBOX

grats, you just made your custom file, now, grab the file you just created, and drop it in the SteamsteamappscommonBlazBlue Continuum Shift ExtenddataSoundBGM folder but make sure you make a backup of your original file
