How to not get killed on any night and still get the achievements

Overview

In this guide ill explain how to get the achievements (Trash and the Gang, Posh Pizzeria etc) and why you might have died without doing anything. This guide will also include how to achieve the insanity ending so you don’t get humiliated by Tape Man on night 5

Step 1: The risk system

Before we get started I want to talk about the risk system in the game. In case you didn’t know this is the risk stat. It’s right under your Revenue stat (REVE) and is directly affected by your Heath and Safety stat (H&SA). The more you increase the Health and Safety stat, the more you will decrease your risk. When your H&SA is a number that is higher than your risk it will not be visible.
(A H&SA of 20 will counter a risk of 19). You are 100% safe from everything if you have a risk of zero/when risk isn’t visible, unless… you have scrapped an animatronic and/or bought Lefty. in that case there’s no choice but to play the game for real, but this guide will help you avoid that.

Step 2: Your first night (+ first lorekeeper requirement)

All you are going to be able to do in blueprint mode tonight is get your risk to zero. You can do this very easily by purchasing the Sanitation Station in dumpster diver weekly. As you can see, it costs $100 and offers 3 H&SA. This will allow you to be risk free night 1, it’s that easy! Now i have no risk stat under my REVE and since you won’t have anything after you in this run you can accept all the sponsorships as they give you a lot of cash in the long run.

Now that you have an extra $250 you buy Midnight Motorist from Stan’s Budget Tech and get to lap 4. Once you get to lap 4 look for an opening in the road and drive into it, this will bring you into a different area where you need to follow the path to get to the house. The rest of the minigame is pretty self-explainitory when it comes to instructions. You can also get quite a bit of cash when completing Midnight Motorist normally, just don’t crash! 🙂

Step 3: Office Phase

Now comes the office phase. In a normal game this could be your worst nightmare but we have set risk to 0 so in turn that means nothing is coming in or out of the building, except you of course.
The office phase is very easy, just complete all the tasks and you’re free to leave. You can do the tasks in any order you want but it’s better to start with the more time consuming ones first.

Printing takes ~17 seconds

Maintenance takes ~10-12 seconds

Ordering takes ~9 seconds

At the end of the night to avoid further hardships make sure to skip salvaging and throw the hellspawns back in the alley where you found them. just mash left click on the top right of the screen and choose the top option.

Keep in mind all of the above applies to every office phase.

Step 4: Making money (+ Second lorekeeper requirement)

So now that you’ve finished your first night its time to make some cash.
The first thing you should do if you want the lorekeeper achievement is buy Fruity Maze (you need to complete it twice and play it for a third time after the second completion, there isn’t really a strategy for this minigame but here is a good video on how to play fruity maze). Playing Midnight Motorist is a good way of making around $300-$400 if you do it perfect. While you’re at it make sure to upgrade your floorplan and accept the sponsorship. Buying things that increase REVE or entertainment will get people to come back for more and spend more too.

Make sure to upgrade the floorplan as soon as possible in order to get the animatronics you need for the achievements. Speaking of those, lets go through the requirements for each achievement.

Trash and the Gang – Pan Stan, Mr.Hugs, #1 Crate, Bucket Bob, Mr. Can-Do ($1,000 reward)

Mediocre Melodies – Mr.Hippo (a real one), Happy Frog, Orville Elephant, Pigpatch, Nedd Bear ($10,000 reward)
(Orville is located in Rare Finds Auction and is $4100, if you have your health and safety high enough you can afford to buy him marked down)

Rockstars Unite – Rockstar Freddy, R. Chica, R. Bonnie, R. Foxy, Lefty ($20,000 reward)
(Yes, Lefty is required for this achievement, he can be bought for $5 at Rare Finds and we will buy him on night 5 so we can do the ending before he gets us)

Posh Pizzeria – Funtime Chica, El Chip, Music Man ($50,000 reward)

So in total for all of these we will be spending around $13,440. That’s quite a lot, if we factor the full prices of the Posh Pizzeria animatronics we jump up to $135,440. Woah.

Another tip for getting cash, buy the Fruit Punch Clown ($490) in Smiles and Servos and play it. Getting perfects in this minigame give you quite a lot of cash. The Rocket minigame is also a good cash source.

Step 4.5: Buying the Animatronics (+ the last lorekeeper requirement)

There is no way we will be getting past $100,000 in one playthrough with this guide so i will give you some pointers. (Keep in mind you don’t need to do all of the animatronic achievements in one run)

Buy the biggest floorplan ASAP. this will allow you to setup the big stages to put the animatronics on.

Buy the Trash and the Gang “animatronics” first, they are the cheapest.

Use Prize King ($7770) and the Ballpit Tower ($750) to get Funtime Chica and Music Man respectively.

Buy Lefty on night 5, trust me.

Now that we have that out of the way let’s get onto the last step of the lorekeeper achievement. All you have to do for this is buy Security Puppet in Rare Finds ($12,500) and do the following.

Catch the Blue child.

Catch the Pink child.

Walk out the door and keep going right.

And that’s it! You are now the Lorekeeper!

Step 5: Finale

After you’ve gotten all of the animatronics and badges/achievements you can get in one run (you can get all of them with good money management) its time to discuss the ending. You need 2 things for this.

$6005 for Egg Baby (Rare Finds) and Lefty.

The desire to end the game early.

If you have Egg Baby on your floor you can end the game on any night and as for Lefty? We want him in order to get the Rockstars achievement (lets hope you bought the others! 🙂 ).
If you havn’t bought the other rockstars you don’t need Lefty.

Now when you get in the office and you have Egg Baby you will notice that your terminals light is now blue and not the usual green. You need to do this fast in order for Lefty to not kill you right away. In order do the following,

Hover your mouse over the now blue button on the bottom left of your terminal.

Press “z” to turn off your terminal.

Mash “z” to turn on your terminal.

While mashing “z” hold left click on the blue button.

If you did it right you will lose the ability to look left and right and be treated to Cassette Man’s wonderful voice and then the final cutscene of the insanity ending.
