No More Room in Hell Guide

How to open the (developer) console for No More Room in Hell

How to open the (developer) console

Overview

It’s pretty easy to open the deveoloper console. I will show you how that works, step by step.

Open the console (with Tilde key)

If you have the Tilde key (below Escape looks like this: ~) you will have the easiest way.

1. Start the game.
2. Click “Options“.
3. Click “Keyboard“, then click “Advanced“.
4. Enable the developer console.
5. Close all those windows.
6. Press the “~” (Tilde) key.
→ The console should appear.

If this option works, the option below is not needed.

Open the console (without Tilde key)

1. Go to your steam library.
2. Rightclick on “No More Room in Hell”.
3. Click on “Properties“.
4. Go to “General” and click on “Set Launch Options“.
5. Write “-console” in it.
6. Close those windows again and start the game.
→ The console shoud be open, and it will be accessible in-game if you press escape unless you close it.

Bind key to open console

If you want to bind a key to open the console, continue here.
7. Write “bind <key> toggleconsole” in your console. (<key> represents your specified key. e.g. [bind m toggleconsole])
→ Now if you press your bound key in-game, the console will open.
