Gameplay Basics
Campaigns are a series of missions with specific requirements designed to make Random Battles more exciting. You can play them if you’ve reached Service Record Level 9, and they can be permanent (always available) or temporarily active, dedicated to certain events.
You can see the list of all Campaigns in the Campaign tab in your Port.
Keep in mind that missions of the temporary Campaigns might be available in different stages: the first mission right after release and consecutive ones with each passing week.
Campaigns may have a tier limit. For example, the “Yamamoto Isoroku” Campaign is only available for tier VIII-X tier ships.
There is also a difference between standard Campaigns like “Science of Victory” or “Honorable Service,” and Historical Campaigns like “Yamamoto Isoroku,” linked to famous naval battles or the lives and service of prominent commanders. For instance, if you want to know what it is like to be the Admiral of the Imperial Japanese Navy after the attack on Pearl Harbor, start the Campaign.
To start a Campaign, select the “Campaign” tab in your Port and click on an available mission, which informs you which tasks the ship you have selected is eligible to complete.
Complete the tasks and earn rewards and stars required to unlock the final task with an even bigger reward.
If you had more fun with one or more of the tasks or other tasks are more difficult, or less fun to complete, you can select and complete the same task many times. You’ll earn stars every time if you do it this way, but you’ll only get the task reward once. If you have a Premium Account, you can select three tasks simultaneously, while a non-Premium Account limits you to select two tasks.
If you haven’t completed a mission and decided to cancel it, you’ll have to start it over after accepting it again.
Rewards
Complete standard tasks and missions, and you can earn:
- Signal Flags
- Camo
- Credits
- Upgrades
- Free XP
- Port slots
- Commander Reserve slots
- Consumables
Rewards for the final tasks are more valuable and can even include Doubloons.
Complete a Campaign and the rewards get even bigger:
- Days of Premium Account time
- A Premium ship
- A fully researched tech tree ship
- Unique Commander
“Science of Victory” Campaign:
- Seven days of Premium Account time
“Honorable Service” Campaign
- Japanese Premium tier VI destroyer Shinonome
- Commander with 11 Skill points
“Yamamoto Isoroku” Campaign
- Commander Yamamoto with unique Skills (Concealed Reserves and Second Wind)
- Visual modifications of the ship he’s assigned to (fireworks, colored shell tracers, and a special Commander Flag)
