Overview
This guide for people that want to play with another person over a LAN/WAN connection.First, make sure both games are loaded on both computers.Then, on the computer your wanting to host from, On the main menu open the Developers console (CTRL + ALT + `), then type in ” host 1″What “host 1” will do is create a server/lobby where it will accept connections from another computer/connection.After you created the lobby the other person is now ready to connect, however you must get the local ip to join.To find the local IP to the host computer, you go to your search and type in CMD and press enter.Then type in “ipconfig”, After that, grab the IPv4 Address from the list that shows that is your LAN/WAN network the other computer is connected to.Once you have the IP, you can join by going into the other computer, open console, and type in “connect 192.168.x.x” (Usually its a 192.168.x.x connection for routers)After that your buddy should be able to join.KNOWN BUGS: Sometimes your name will be a blank space(I.E. ” : hi “)If you need me to add/modify more let me know in the comments 🙂
