Overview
This guide will help you to play more than 4 players on local, i have done this with 4 nintendo Switch pro controllers and with 1 xbox one controller, so i believe that this works with any control you have that you already use on steam
1.- Step go to big picture on steam
Once you’re on big picture go to config as the image shows
2.- control setting
Then you go to the controllers settings as the image shows
3.- uncheck all controllers options
just leave the top mark on the options as it shows
4.- Go to the game
Open the game then select the options in the game
5.- Go to the controllers section
Uncheck the Xinput, then save the changes
6.- Now you can assign every control
Now assign every player with his controll, you will found that now it’s on orange that option, you select that option and use the controll that you want for that player, and you have to assign every button and stick for that player on that control.
PD. You need to do this same for every player with different controll
You can see that now the name of the controll and that the orange option is gone.
