[OUTDATED] 1. Join the Human: Fall Flat Workshop group
[link] You need to join this group to gain access to a “Workshop” tab in the Community Hub of Human: Fall Flat where you can download maps.
Here is a direct link to the Workshop page with the “Level” tag so it only shows levels. (You need to be logged in an account that is a part of the HumanWorkshop group to access the link) [link]
In the Workshop page you can add levels to your game by choosing the icon of the level you want and pressing the green “+ Subscribe” button.
[OUTDATED] 2. Download the “modder” beta version of Human: Fall Flat
You need to download a beta version of the game to be able to play Workshop maps due to the Workshop still being in alpha.
To gain access to the “modder” beta version of the game, you need to go to your Library on steam, find Human: Fall Flat, right click on it and press “Properties”. Then go to the “Betas” tab and put this code in the box: c9HStpsi34Q69F
After you have unlocked the “modder” beta version of the game, you need to select it from the drop-down menu that says “Select the beta you would like to opt into:” in the “Betas” tab. After you have chosen it, you need to download it. (Steam will automatically start downloading it)
[OUTDATED] 3. Play the downloaded Workshop level in-game
To play the Workshop level in-game you need to launch Human: Fall Flat [modder] and choose the new category “WORKSHOP” from the main menu. Once selected you should see all of the levels that you have subscribed to. From here just select the map you’d like to play and press “PLAY”
[OUTDATED] F.A.Q
A: Online multiplayer isn’t supported in the current modder branch version of Human: Fall Flat so you can’t play your maps online with your friends.
You can on the other hand play split-screen co-op on the same computer if you have a controller of some kind and a keyboard+mouse. Just press both triggers on the controller and both mouse buttons on your mouse (the buttons that you use to grab in-game) at the same time and a second player will drop in the level on the starting checkpoint, making the screen split vertically in half.
A: First, make sure you’re logged into your account. If it takes you to the Community Hub, or [link], you need to join the HumanWorkshop group to unlock the “Workshop” tab.
If it takes you to the “Workshop” tab but you don’t see any items, press “Browse” like on the second picture and choose “Items” from the drop-down menu. Once selected, you can filter items by pressing the drop-down menu on the right.
