How to Quickly Complete Voyages

Overview

Some of the most time consuming commendations and achievements in this game are the ones requiring you to complete voyages. 250 for Gold Hoarders, 250 for Merchant Alliance, and 250 for Order of Souls, for a total of 750 voyages. Its not easy, it will take time, but this is by far the quickest way to do it.

Disclaimer

This guide is for experienced players that do not need/want gold or XP and only want voyage completions, because this method awards neither of those things.

You will also need two systems for this to work. Two Xboxs, two PCs or a combination will work.

The Basic Principle

When you first start playing the game, you can obtain free voyages. They are very easy to complete because they are always one chapter and either send you to one or two islands. Although most players buy promotions in the different factions as they level up. Once you buy promotions in the different factions, the voyages are not free and are harder to complete. The basic idea is that you use an alternate account that has not bought any promotions and have that account put those on the voyage table to be completed.

The Steps

1. Log into both accounts on each system.
2. Have your alternate account with no promotions start up a server on a brig. (brigs are fast and easy to manage)
3. Buy as many voyages as you can of the faction you want to do and put down voyages until you get one that sends you to one single island. (for the merchant alliance you will not have to cycle)
4. Once you get a good voyage, raise anchor then have your main account join the crew. If your main account joins before the anchor is raised, it will spawn in the tavern and you will have to spend extra time/effort looking for a mermaid.
5. As soon as your main account has joined the crew, have your alt leave the crew and start a new server to repeat the process. The key is to get your main in quickly so that your alt account can start up a new server ASAP.

Gold Hoarders

The Gold Hoarder voyages will always give you one chapter, but will sometimes give you more than one island to go to. Because we are trying to save time and effort, make sure to cycle through voyages until you get a voyage with one.

Order of Souls

Order of Souls is the same as Gold Hoarders, it will always be one chapter but sometimes send you to two islands. Always cycle till you get a voyage with one captain to kill.

Merchant Alliance

Merchant Alliance is a little harder, although you wont have to cycle through voyages because they will always request that you deliver two chickens. Most of the time they will be red or white or a combination, but sometimes a black one will be thrown in there.

How To Do Voyages Even Faster

It is best if you have three friends that also have alts so you can all work together. Just have all your alts sailing to islands and just as you are about to finish, have everyone’s main accounts join and finish the voyage. If done right, it is possible to constantly be loading into servers and finishing voyages.

It is also easier if you have the game on steam and on the Microsoft Store so that you can just run two instances of the game side by side instead of switching between systems.
