This is a quick and easy way to learn how to overcome tough oponents on the field of battle
Introduction.
This is one of the basic strategies used in combat.
That’s right, the pincer maneuver. There’s not much to it, and this guide shows you how to use the maneuver in the most efficient way, and not allowing any enemies to escape.
The How-To
What you want to do is completely flanking the enemy, best done at the same time so that your enemy doesn’t have any time to retreat. Here are some screenshots demonstrating how to use the pincer maneuver ingame to wipe out the most massive concentrations of troops.
Notice how in the picture to the left, we advance FIRST to cut the retreat lines and then proceed to attack directly after it’s locked in place. You have to make sure to put the orders correctly so that the attack isn’t done before the actual encirclement.
The outcome should be similar to what’s demonstrated above, the final push literally erases any army in the area (as long as you have the numbers and the condition is relatively higher than that of the enemy’s units.)

Summing things up
This tactic can come in handy when dealing with tough enemy concentrations, and the flank around the enemy doesn’t have to necessarily be strong. What you need is 1 unit per area and that’s enough to not allow the enemy to escape. When the enemy has nowhere to run and is defeated, they’re instantly eliminated. This can speed up your victories and you can grab dem achievements easily.
