Overview
Ittle Dew tries to guess your preferred language regardless of your OS settings. Thankfully, there’s an easy way to change the language back manually.
Localization Hell
Ever since version 1.2, Ittle Dew includes “full localizations” for
- Russian
- French
- German
- Polish
- Hungarian
Some of them are more lacking than others. The ugly part is that the game sets its language automatically, based on what I don’t know.
The game was set to German in my case, even though my system language is English. This was infuriating and unacceptable to me, so much that I almost missed the part where I could set it manually.
Here’s how:
Just open the game, navigate to the little flag in the main menu with the arrow keys (or your gamepad) and hit Enter/Z a couple of times. BOOM!
Enjoy.
