A visual guide to reporting bugs you might find.
Before your Report
Before your report a bug, make sure to check the Known Issues post. There’s a good chance someone has already reported the issue. If it’s not on there, read on.
Reporting from within the client
If the bug you’ve encountered isn’t in the known bugs list, and the bug does not prevent you from launching the game, you should use the in-game form to contact us about it. Here’s how to do that.
- Open the Game Menu by clicking on the gear icon in the lower right corner.
- Click on the “Contact Support” button.
- Select the appropriate category and then give us a description of the bug you encountered. The more detailed you can be, the better. Try to tell us what you did leading up to the moment the bug appeared. If this happened during a battle, let us know whether you were fighting the computer, or another player and the name of the player (if you remember).
- When you have completed the report, click Send. You will receive a message telling you that it was successfully submitted.
Once submitted, we will work on it as soon as possible. In most cases, the report is all we need from you. You will only be contacted if we need further information.
Reporting from Outside the Client
If you are unable to use the game client to report your bug, you can also report your bug on the forums. Visit the Bugs Sub-forum to post your bug. Make sure to follow the Reporting Format so that we can quickly look into the issue.
