How to restore the old UI if you installed skins [with pictures]

Have you installed a GUI skin for Half-Life? Do you want to restore the original UI? This is the guide for YOU!

Step 1: Open game files

First, right click Half-Life in your Steam library and click Properties.

Now, go to LOCAL FILES and click BROWSE LOCAL FILES.

Step 1a: Open all mod folders that you installed the skin in.

DO IT.

Step 2: Delete the resource folder.

Now, you need to delete the resource folder. The resource folder contains ALL the important files for the main menu.

Step 3: Regaining the original resource folder

Now, right click Half-Life in your Steam library and go back to Properties.

Go to the LOCAL FILES and click VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES.

Step 4: Testing the results

After validation, the game should re-download some files. Now, when you open HL, your UI should be back to normal!
