As you may know… Valve with this last update has enforced the HD Models pack that gearbox made as the Default game models… i don’t like them and i guess that MOST people don’t
Here with this guide with the help of the person who found out the original solution (R4to0.exe) I will tell you how to fix it in this tutorial… this tutorial is intended to help to return to the original Models , I don’t own any of this content , the one who told me about this solution was R4to0.exe via this original thread : [link]

What you are going to do for enable the Old Models is simple:
Step 1. Narrated by R4to0.exe “Just change to new beta (steam library, right click in half-life, proprierties, beta tab and choose steampipe). Valve added a option to disable HD pack.”
Summary : Go to your library , right click on Half-Life, Click on properties , go to the beta tab and change from none to Steampipe
Step 2. IN CASE the previous step has failed , you will do this: Right Click on Half-life ( in your library) -> Go to properties -> Local -> Verify integrity of Game Cache.
I’ve tested it out with 5 people I know and it worked.
This solution may become outdated when Valve releases a fix to change to the Old Models easily.
