Comments of Masters About the Guide

You thought this would be another troll guide on the endless steam community guides. Well I planed so, but your heroes saved the day by teaching this author how things work in this game. So here is the hall of fame.

Or just light on your lamp with F5 button (yes, it’s a weird command)

Nightvision goggles (f2) if you have it, you have to find it in the levels, starting with mission 1, or head lamp (f5)

So yeah, it wasn’t really my guide, was it? I just wasted your time while these guys actually searched for it. Well if you want to thank them, just scroll into the comments.

THEIR EXTRA NOTES ABOUT THE GAME

I learned it on another guide, “Keyboard Controls”… The manual is essential on this game, and Steam seems to doesn’t have it…
-Shkeil

Also, since you need to know this to shoot enemies and switches, you can also look up and down in this game, how? Pgup (look down) Pgdn (look up, yeah they are inverted) now THAT Is weird, if you want to know the rest of the inportant controls, look up the manual, there’s a guide or two on steam that shows stuff from the manual, or since it is avalable unlike star wars x-wing, there is a link to the manual in the steam library, simply, go to select dark forces, look to the right where “links” are, and there’s the manual, or look in the games properties on steam and there it is too… you know what? one more thing, head wave which is F6, just messes with the weapon bobbing, what do i mean by that? wolfenstein 3d: the weapon is perfectly still while moving, doom: the weapon is moving around while you’re moving, now imagine toggling between those 2, thats what head wave is, its cosmetic.

…and if you hit alt-enter, you can exit the dosbox’s full screen, and re-enter it if selected, i thought i was done talking about key commands for a second there, oh well, just wanted to mention that since dosbox doesnt use the steam overlay or whatever that interface you hit shift-tab to access is called.
