Try to run the launcher for the game and it immediately crashes? Struggling to find a solution? Need to change your video settings desperately? This is the guide for you!
How to!
Firstly, go to this space on your hard drive.
If done correctly, it should look like this.
Now just press this button in the corner and head back to the “common” folder.
Highlight the Fallout NV folder, like this.
Now right click, and go to Properties, which is the bottom option.
The highlighted part is what we’re after.
Untick “Read-only (Only applies to files in folder)” like so.
When you hit apply, you should get a window like this come up, just hit ok.
Finally, launch the game through Steam and it should work! Now fiddle with your settings, add or remove mod files, and start the game!
