Survivng the forest

As you probably know there are a whole range of monster/mutants that will try to kill you, some are a lot more common than others. The common ones can be fought with basic tools where as some you will need much better weapons to kill them. But the best way to avoid them is create a small ♥♥♥♥ shack with a defensive wall around it, this will protect you for a while but you will have to prepare things when hit be monsters. But by doing this you limit yourself to only that area and you cannot explore the map, the best way to explore would be things like tents everywhere or for some safety, treehouses that connect to other treehouses via things such as ropes/ziplines so you are protected and don’t have to go on the ground.
Finding a reliable food source is also a great idea some of the food sources are berries/ponds/traps which will be reliable but the ponds will eventually run out of fish where as the others just take time.
Getting a turtle shell for a water collector is also a great idea so you don’t have to adventure off to find water.
There are also some animals that I do not recommend going to find and kill because without the right exiquipment you are more than likely to die to them such as the big

Some of the better weapons that I reccomend for hunting are basic bows & spears which don’t take much to craft but are efficient to kill animals.
So all you have to do is make a small house with a wlal around it, a planter, a couple of traps outside, a water collector and some effigies to scare away monsters from your base. Like I said this will heavily slow down your chance of finding timmy.
