How to take screenshots using Sneaky Upgrade and SteaScree.

Overview

This guide will help you be able to take screenshots and upload them to Steam, your profile, and to the Thief 3: Deadly Shadows steam community.Special thanks to the authors of SteaScree and the Sneaky Upgrade. This guide would not exist if it weren’t for them, nor would the game be enjoyable in this day and age.

Step 1: Download and install Thief 3 Sneaky Upgrade

Install this if you haven’t already. You can choose whether to mod the game out or keep it mostly vanilla.

Step 2: Enable Take screenshots using the PrintScreen key in SneakyTweaker

Open SneakyTweaker (Should be on your desktop after Sneaky Upgrade installation.)
Then click Screenshots, then enable Take screenshots using the PrintScreen key in SneakyTweaker. Make sure it has a check mark.

Step 3: Download and install SteaScree

Step 4: Using SteaScree with Thief: Deadly Shadows

Open SteaScree, and type 6980 as the Game ID
Then, play the game, and use the Print Screen key on your keyboard to take screenshots.
The screenshots will be saved to this folder.

When you want to upload screenshots to Steam, open SteaScree and click Add screenshots to queue While in this menu, go into the screenshot directory (Wherever your Steam directory is located) SteamsteamappscommonThief Deadly ShadowssaveScreenShots select the screenshots you want to upload, select them again in the SteamScree menu, click Copy screenshots to game directory, click Prepare screenshots for uploading, it will warn you to exit steam, please do so, once the uploading is finished, open Steam, then go to the game in your steam library, and you can view your screenshots and upload them to your profile and the official Thief: Deadly Shadows Steam Community!
