How to turn your SFM render into a masterpiece

Overview

In this guide, i’ll be showing how to make your SFM render a lot better!Note: I recommend using a drawing tablet to do this.

Open SFM and do some stuff

First of all, open SFM, load a map, load a model, make a pose, and then save it as a image or a poster.

Note: for transparent backgrounds, i recommend using a green screen plate.

Removing the green screen

Now, let’s get to editing!
But first of all, let’s get rid of the green screen.

(I’m using paint.net for example)

First, use the magic wand tool.

Second, cut the green screen and boom, you can now add your own background!

Editing the eyes

To make the eyes more cute and sexy, use the magic wand tool, use the paint brush tool, and then edit the eyes

UwU

Adding some shading

To add some shading, use the gradient tool or the paint brush tool to add any color shade.

Next, use the magic wand too to get rid of the shade in the background (And the eyes)

Adding a background

To add a background, paint the transparent background, and add some shapes or whatever.

Next, use any blur effect to make the background better.

Extras (Optional)

Now to add some extras! (Which is a optional thing)

First, i duplicate the layer and use a thing to make it white.

Next, i use a thing called morphology.

Last, i use a thing called frosted glass, and that’s it.

Finished!

And now the art is finished!

(Don’t forget to add your watermark so no one can steal it)

Recommendations

But wait! before you go, i’m gonna show you some things i recommend.

1. A better editing program to use is paint.net or Photoshop.
2. A better drawing tablet is the ones with screens such as a Wacom Cintiq 16.
3. A better way to do your render is to use split cameras such as using the work camera on the right and using the scene camera on the left.

The End

Anyways that’s it hehe ok bye
