Overview
DISCLAIMER: I had a heavy warhammer, warhorse helmet, warhorse gambiet, chainmail, and a shield. Your results may be different depending on your gear.Chances are you didn’t expect or forsee this happening. Don’t worry I was on the same boat as you. You probably failed the mission quite a bit because too many of your men died or you may have even died while pursuing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ archers. You finally get past that part and die to Runt 10 times in a row without even hurting him much. Now you are looking for help cause you are arrogant, prideful, and/or don’t want to go back to the last save.
Step 1
Equip a Bow and Arrow
One head shot will deal significant damage. At the time I had the village ashen bow and 30 hunting arrows.
Step 2
Do the Jumping Juke manuever (by me).
When you run from Runt the bastard runs right after you. What you wanna do is run and then wait for him to get close and right before he swings his sword jump. He will miss you, then walk away try not to run (if you run he begins to run again) and aim at his head and fire the arrow. I shot the arrow when he got really close to me.
Step 3
Check his health by switching back to your melee and locking onto him
You may want to shoot more arrows at him or try to finish him off by Melee. I switched to Melee and he had about a quarter health. I keept blocking and then achieved the cutscene.

I hope this guide helped you, but it is not perfect it took me about 5 tries to perfect it. You will probably lose damage. Hopefully next time you won’t stick on the main story as much as I did. Enjoy!
