How to Update the GFWL Edition to Steamworks

You don’t have to download the full new game (6GB) for the Steamworks update, just follow these steps:

Navigate to your steamapps folder (C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommon)
- You can also right-click the entry of DiRT 3 in your library and go to Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files…
Rename the “DiRT 3” Folder to “DiRT 3 Complete Edition”
Now just click the Install button on the DiRT 3 Complete Edition page in your game library.
- (In case you have already started the download just right-click the entry in your library and click “Delete Local Content”)
Waaaaaait …
Download the new files ~800mb (it says 6.5gb but you’ll have 5.7gb once the download has started)
