Overview
Ok so, many of you guys have tried to use another save, maybe 100% completed, or even backup your save file. But when you launched the game, everything started all over. Well, now I’m gonna tell you how to do it properly, to avoid this.
What you need!
Well well, the things that you need to do this are:
– The save file that you want to use
– The save file that you want to overwrite
– HxD Editor

Your save directory may change. A couple are:
C:Program Files (x86)Steamuserdata”Your profile number”323470remote.
C:UsersuserAppDataRoamingSteamCODEX323470remote.
If you have a cracked version of it, the directory may change. Like, if you have it as 3DMGAMES version, it will be in the 3DMGAMES folder: 3DMGAME3DMGAMEremote.
So, when you have all of those, we can pretty much start!
Let’s get started!
Before I start to explain, I want to say that you should use this only as backup. Please don’t change the savefile to a 100% save, it will ruin your gaming experience, but, do as you wish!
Ok, now you should copy your original save file and paste it on the desktop, just to be sure. Also move your hacked save file / backup save file on your desktop.
Open HxD, and first drag and drop your original save file in it, then drag and drop your hacked / backup save in it too. It will open a new tab, and it will look like this:
Now what you need to do it’s to highlight the first 3 lines of YOUR save file:
Copy them, and overwrite the first 3 lines of the 100% / BACKUP save file, and the 3 lines should turn red:
Now the only thing you need to do it’s to press Ctrl + S and the lines should turn black again:
Like that.
Now you can close everything and, drag and drop the hacked/backup savefile in your save directory of the game. The system will ask you to delete and overwrite that file, say yes and close everything.
Now you can start up the game and play with the hacked / backup savefile that you wanted!
