Overview
How to get kills with the most underrated (and one of the best) blessings in the game
It’s pretty simple!
You’ve probably seen someone fire at you with their bullets dropping to the ground like they’re throwing popcorn at you. That usually means they’ve got Lit Beats equipped and they don’t know how it works. And if you’re one of those people, this guide’s for you. It can be confusing at first, but when you’ve got a marksman- or sniper rifle, it’s just about the best thing you can get your hands on.
This blessing’s almost a guaranteed W with the right guns.
Here’s a quickly cobbled together tutorial on how to use it! I’m using Epic Lit Beats in the video, but the damage difference between the rarities is marginal.
Winchester
The rate of fire is just right for firing on every beat, and a hit to the torso will deal over 100 damage. A headshot is basically a guaranteed kill unless your enemy has a massive health boost.
Garand
Similar to the winchester, just don’t rush your followup shots.
FAL
While it’s got more damage dropoff, you’ll be able to kill someone with 100 health in one shot at an okay range.
KAR/AWP
You won’t be able to fire on every beat without a major blessing of spray, but it’s rare to see wobblers survive a bodyshot
Barrett
An absolute beast in any situation, made even stronger with the blessing.
Remington 500
One of the few CQB weapons that works well with the blessing! Aim down sights, fire on the first beat. A good hit can kill in one shot.
Crossbow pistol
Does 90 damage without the blessing. Kills just about anything that moves.
Crossbow and Musket
While they’re incredibly strong weapons, they’re one shot kills without the blessing and come with the weaknesses to balance that out. You don’t need something this powerful when the fire damage boosts their little brothers so much without having to reload after every shot.
M16
Since the blessing only allows one shot per beat, you’re gimping yourself with this one. Unless, of course, you want to carry it around as your hipfire gun.
The blessing is only active when aiming down sights! Your second primary slot should have something you can hipfire in CQB situations.
Now you’ve got no excuse to give it a chance.
