Tips
Tip 1:
DONT TRUST THE SUSPICION METER
the thing will go wild if you’re close to a guard while disguised as a guard, just stay calm and walk slowly and DO NOT STARE AT THEM. Keep walking and they should ignore you, only get close to guards when you have to, such as short areas when you can immediately get away. otherwise they’ll probably immediately open fire
Tip 2:
ANASTETIC DOES NOT KEEP THEM KNOCKED OUT FOREVER
See those little bars on the Ana? Each of those bars is about a minute. Use this to your advantage. Need a disguise and want this patrolling guard knocked out? Use all 5 bars. Want a disguise but need to move a guy quickly? Use one bar and drag him off. Just remember these don’t last forever, so make sure if you ana someone you get the job done quickly and get out of there.
Tip 3:
LOOK AROUND YOU
Theres usually multiple ways to kill the target, and tons of different paths to get to them. LOOK AROUND! See an open window next to a ladder? get on that ladder and get into the window. See a high vantage point that covers exactly where a meeting is? Get in there.
Tip 4:
TAKE YOUR TIME
I know I said you have to move fast earlier, but what you should always do is play the level first and take the time to look around and get a plan in your head before trying to play it. You can always restart the level, so don’t worry if you screw up.
Tip 5:
SAVE, SAVE, AND SAVE,
You’re going to be forced into some tricky situations that require timing, or you’re just afraid of what will happen when you take out a target. Hitman 2 has a save system that lets you save anytime in the level you are in. Use this when you’re nervous
These are just some general tips, I’m not going into huge detail here. Just remember that this game is hard, but if you try and learn the game and methods it’ll get easier.
