Overview
This is a simple guide on how to win Galactic Conquest from somebody who is addicted to it (possibly over 1,000 hours on PS2)!
What is “Galactic Conquest”?
Galactic Conquest is a game mode about moving around and conquering planets. As you conquer planets and just do battles over all, you gain credits. Credits are the currency of Star Wars, and the currency for this as well. You will need to spend credits on gaining new ships, classes or bonuses. And as you move around and conquer planets, you may find yourself engaged in space combat as well.
Winning As The Republic
First and foremost, you should always shout “FOR THE CHANCELLOR!” before battles, as it may raise your moral. When you start off, you can choose one of the following:
1.Hire a new unit.
2.Get some bonuses.
3.Get another fleet.
4.Ignore the other 3 points and just move.
As a standard Republic infantry, you have a 2/3 star fire rate, and 2/3 damage rate.
Winning as the Republic is easy for most battles, as your team either has a map bias or an infinite number of disposable natives. When you play on Geonisis, the C.I.S. base planet, there is one thing to say to win: KEEP THE AT-TE ACTIVE! If you don’t, those bugs and clankers might take advantage of your lack of vehicles, and cut down your team like a hot knife through butter!
Republic’s special classes and their equipment:
Clone Jet Trooper
This guy has a jetpack! What can be more fun than flying around in a jetpack?!
He has an E.M.P. launcher (mini-rocket launcher) that has 2 shots per clip!
Alot of grenades (4, to be exact).
And a pistol
Clone Commander
This guy has a rotary mini-gun! Why, you can just mow down enemies like they’re a lawn!
This guy’s mini-gun has infinite ammo, but overheats really fast and takes time to start up (roughly 1 second).
Recon Driod-to either A).sit back and watch the fights or B).try to kill a bunch of enemies without putting yourself in harm’s way.
Resistance increase for yourself and nearby friendly units.
You also get a pistol

To win as the Empire, you must know which driods you are looking for and which people are Jedi.
