Overview

Full 100% walkthrough with screenshots and descriptions

Introduction

Immersive Poetry is a walking simulator where with almost every level the gameplay changes a bit. The game is relaxing, also due to the VERY slow movement speed, even if you “run”.
It will show you poem lines here and there and you can collect poems which you can read in the main menu. These are also needed for achievements.
You will actually need to play some levels twice at least to some extent. But for the second time playthrough you won’t have to repeat most of the tasks from before, so it will be much quicker.
I will provide some screenshots here and there but sadly I can’t show you the locations of the poems on those, because even though I have reset my progress and reinstalled the game, I still had those poems, so they won’t show up on my screenshots. But I will describe you the locations, also they are quite easy to find, except maybe one.
So let’s get started!

Main Menu

In the main menu click on “Reset all progress” to get Second Time’s a Charm!. (Achievements 1/20) Now play the story mode. You start in the level

The Road Not Taken

After you can move around, press “P” on your keyboard and click on the symbol at the bottom to use the photomode. (On the screenshot it’s where my cursor is pointing at.)
You get Pose!. (Achievements 2/20)
There are 2 poems in this level, both at the beginning, one should be ahead of you, the other one on the right path (the only path that matters). (Poems 2/9)
To complete this level you have to to take photos of 4 things. On the interface it will tell you which one you already found and which one not. All of those are on the right path, not far from one another.

speyeria butterfly

flowers

mountain

emperor dragonfly

As soon as you got all 4, the level will end and you will get Complete The Road Not Taken.
(Achievements 3/20)

Limbo

So on this level there is a time limit (15 minutes), but if you follow this guide, so should have no problems with it. Also the timer stops if you pause the game. Sometimes you will have to crouch to move along.
After you can move around, you want to pause the game and click on “restart”, because this map is bugged. The first time you play this map, the first passage won’t open.
So after the restart follow the only path till the dead end, you should then hear like a crumble. Then go back, a new passage should have opend on the right. Like I said, this won’t happen the first time you play the map.
Follow the new path to a room where another two passages will open.
In the left one you should see a poem, so take this way and collect it. (Poems 3/9) You get Hide and Seek. (Achievements 4/20)
Follow the path and you will get back to the beginning area. Then go back to the room with the two passages and now take the right one. You come to a small cave where you have to crouch, again there are two possible ways from here.
Take the right one first, at the end of the path you find the key on the ground, now go back and take the other way. After another passage before you opens, take the right way. At the gate the level ends.
You get Complete Limbo. (Achievements 5/20)

The Snowstorm

In this level you can freeze to death. To warm you up, stand next to a fire. Always fill up the heat bar completly next to a fire.
Just go straight from where you begin, from fire to fire and pick up two backpacks.
Take the path up to the hill.
As soon as you enter this, go left, there will be the last backpack and a poem. (Poems 4/9)
With the 3 backpacks you will withstand the cold far better.
Follow the path into the cave till the end. After the cave turn right. Another poem should be near that fire.
(Poems 5/9) You get A Real Treasure Hunter. (Achievements 6/20)
Then go left from the cave into the open and follow the fires. After some time the level ends.
You get Complete The Snowstorm. (Achievements 7/20)

The Four Stages of Man

In this level you can die (at least I think so) if you stay too long in the dark. If the screen turns red, go near a light till the screen goes normal again.
Just follow the road straight to the end. At some point you will see an alley to the left. Ignore it for now, but remember it for later. (2. Playthrough)
At the end of the road, the level ends. You get Complete the Four Stages of Man. (Achievements 8/20)

A Boat Beneath a Sunny Sky

Finally a level where you can’t die. You are on a little island.
Turn around and walk down the hill. A poem will be there. Also there should be another poem somewhere on the other side of the island. Don’t remember where exactly but it shouldn’t be hard to find on this small map. (Poems 7/9)
Now just find the 5 items to end the level. I provide screenshots for them.
You get A Boat Beneath a Sunny Sky. (Achievements 9/20)

The Ocean

On this level you walk on the sea bottom and your air supply is limited. Goal is to collect 10 starfishs. If you die, you can restart the level and you keep your collected starfishs. So, don’t worry.
First thing you do is follow the right wall or at least go parallel to it. After some time you see a cutscene and get Explorer. (Achievements 10/20)
Make sure to now restart the level. You may get automatically to the next level (a bug), if this happens, hit pause, level select and select The Ocean.
Now collect the first five starfishs. Always follow the left wall.
After you got those five. Go back a bit. A Poem should be somewhere in the kelp on this screenshot.
If you don’t see it, explore the kelp a bit more. This is definitly the hardest poem to find. If you are at the little boat, you have gone to far. (Poems 8/9)
Continue on to find the remaining five starfishs. Again follow the left wall. Don’t worry, you will have to walk quite some time till you find your sixth starfish.
After the last one you get Complete The Ocean. (Achievements 11/20)

The Final Entry

Just follow the path. After some time a bench with an USB stick will be on your left.
Interact with it and input this code: 1-14-14-1. You get Esteemed Reader. (Achievements 12/20)
Go through the pages till the end and move on. Shortly after the level ends. You get For Someone Else. (Achievements 13/20)
You will now see the credits rolling but there are more levels to play and more achievements to get!
From the main menu you can now select levels by clicking on “Poem Selection”. Select Autumn.

Autumn

(For some reason my progress didn’t reset on this level at all, so my screenshots will be empty.)
Follow the path a bit, at the junction turn right.
Continue on, after some time you should see a poem to the left of the path. (Poems 9/9) You get Parchment Parser. (Achievements 14/20)
Shortly after you will see a house in the distance, also on your left. (If you can’t find the poem, use the house as an reference point. The poem should be between where you turned at the junction and that house.)
Now approach the house. You get a new quest: collect three items. The radio is to the left of the house, on a table.
Go back to the main path, go left and follow it almost till the end. The flashlight will be next to the campground.
Now turn back and follow the road till the end. There on the hill is a car and the screwdriver will be on the bonnet.
The level ends. You get Falling Leaves. (Achievements 15/20)

Optional: Heaven’s Gate

In the level selection screen you can select the Heaven’s Gate level (at any time in the game) and play it though it’s the only level which does not grant any achievement, so it is up to you.

Limbo (2. Playthrough)

Now we have to play some level a second time. Like I said you don’t have to finish the level again. Just play till you get your achievement(s).

We start with Limbo. Now go and collect the key at the same location as before. (The passage at the beginning should open immediatly.) Then from the location of the key take the other way in the little “crouch-cave” and follow the path till a NEW passage on the right will open.
Go in there and follow it till the end and into the light.
You get Into the Light. (Achievements 16/20)

The Snowstorm (2. Playthrough)

Now play The Snowstorm a second time. Go to the end of the cave, turn right and before the fire right again.
On a rock will be some glasses. BUT BEFORE PICKING THEM UP, continue reading. Because when you pick them up, your screen will get purple and the little mushrooms on the ground will glow. You have now limited time to collect, I think 6 of them, although the game says 5. They are all behind you when you pick up the glasses and at the entrance to the cave and in the cave.
You get Eye Saver for the glasses and Shroom Stomper for the mushrooms. (Achievements 18/20)

The Four Stages of Man (2. Playthrough)

Now The Four Stages of Man. This time go in the left alley I told you to remember. Continue a bit and on the ground on the right you will see a little box.
Pick it up to get Lifesaver. (Achievements 19/20)

A Boat Beneath a Sunny Sky (2. Playthrough)

And finally A Boat Beneath a Sunny Sky. From the boat go right and find a black camera on a rock.
Pick it up for Investigator. (Achievements (20/20)
Now you can take photos of 4 things but you don’t have to, you already have 100% at this point.
