Insanity Clicker Progression Guide [by Harmony]

Overview

Hiya! This is my first guide that hopefully helps one or another to progress a bit better in Insanity Clicker! :3General tips, applies to all runs;Always use Skill 1 and Skill 2 whenever they are off cooldown!Always use Skill 1~4 together when you fight a boss. When you see a Chest, don’t panic, use Skill 5 and click it.Skill 8 and 6 DO NOT stack together. You will only get 5% boost still. [Seems to be bugged]Reset your Skill 3 with 9 if you wanna farm money, the critical hit skill is good to get quick money by clicking. Its better than Insane Rage.Always try to keep about Amnesia*10 in Sins, do not use those to upgrade, to get a bit of power from each Amnesia while upgrading. Never go back to 0 Sins, you will feel that things get slower for you again. (So keep 30 Sins on 3 Amnesias unspend to get that boost on passive DPS from the sins)Skill overview:Skill 1 – Increased your CPS by 10. for 30 seconds. 15 Minutes cooldown.Skill 2 – Increases your DPS by 100% for 30 seconds. 15 Minutes cooldown.Skill 3 – Increases your critical hit chance by 50% for 30 seconds. 30 Minutes cooldown.Skill 4 – Increases your tooth gain by 100% for 30 seconds. 30 Minutes cooldown. Skill 5 – Gives you 1% of the enemies tooth drop per click for 30 seconds. (0,1% on bosses) 30 Minutes cooldown.Skill 6 – Increases your DPS to 1.05 (5% increase) until you go fall into an Amnesia. 8 Hours cooldown.Skill 7 – Increases your DPS by 200% for 30 seconds. (Does not stack with Skill 1) 60 Minutes cooldown.Skill 8 – Powers up the next skill by twice the value. (Skill 6 being 1.10, Skill 7 being 400%, Skill 3 being 100% chance to crit ect.) 60 Minutes cooldownSkill 9 – Decreases the cooldown of the LAST USED SKILL by 1 hour. (Does decrease the cooldown by Skill 8 by 2 hours if you use it before this skill.. Pointless, but fun fact. :P) 60 Minutes cooldown.Newborn (Fresh start, 0 Amnesias)Stage 1-10:Not much to say here, but you should be able to buy the Cobra and the Scorpion by then.Upgrade them both and don’t forget about your Bat. (You won’t notice it much after a few hours into the game, you only want to upgrade this for the perks.)Stage 11-49:Its mostly just trying to get new minions and get perks on your previous ones.Perks are unlocked by every minion on 10, 25, 50, 75, 100 and some even have a 125 perk. (Only exception being your click minion, it has perks until Level 200.Stage 50-100:Here I’d like to start using the 75 – 50 – 25 -10 – 1 system.Whenever you are in one of the stages between 50 and 100 on your first playthrough, you will have a very hard time and it will be incredibly slow at times. To get it a bit faster done, always use the upgrade system as the followed:Imagine you have Flounder, Rafael, Deathfang, Pollywog and Jellyfish as your current main minions. You want Flounder on level 75 with the perk, Rafael at 50, Deathfang at 25, Pollywog at 10 and Jellyfish at 1, because you just bought Jellyfish.Next upgrade would be Flounder to 100 and buy the perk, then Rafael at 75 for the perk, Deathfang at 50 and so on until you hit Jellyfish 10.NOW save money until you can buy the next better minion. (Which would be Wogon Level 1 at this scenario) If the next Minion is way too far away from your current position, repeat the cycle and then save for the next one.Repeat the same procedure until you are at Stage 100.DO NOT upgrade your lower units (lets say in that case Flounder) anymore, if they have no more perks avialable to buy.You will see that your 5th placed minion will have a 0% DPS (or something below 5 atleast) contribution, at this point you DO NOT need to upgrade this unit any further (for now).Stage 101:Congratulations!You’ve beated the first Superboss and got your first sin.If you finish the first enemy off Stage 101 or 102, you will get an equipment piece. Equip it immedietly. Dance if you got something legendary or higher, with a good stat on it. If not, not too bad. Its your first run.Sins give you 10% DPS for every sin you do not use, so choose for yourself if you going to upgrade illnesses or save up sins to progress faster. Also, at this point, buy every illness once, they are free!Stage 102-149:By Stage 130~140, you should unlock Dendroid, your last minion you will see for a long time sadly. Before that , keep doing the same method used for 51-100.Once you get Dendroid, you will realise that he pretty much gives you a 99% DPS boost and makes everyone else in your party be a 1% or lower contribution to the DPS (at very last once he gain a few levels). Just upgrade the others if they have perks left, otherwise keep them at the level they were before, as they no longer give sustainable amounts of DPS (0.1% compared to lots of DPS per Dendroid level you invest)Stage 150:After Stage 150, Dendroids power slowly leaves you, and this is where you should Amnesia for the first time. You will get about ~30 Sins for the first time. See ya back at Stage 1!Rebirth (1 Amnesia)Stage 1:Hiya! All your stuff is gone, but thats not too bad, you are stronger now!Take a look at the Illness screen. All illnesses are FREE for the first level, purchase them ALL once. They cost nothing. <3 But if you followed the guide you should already purchased them when you got to Level 101.Also put Bulimia at like level 3 Delirium to 3 aswell. Keep the other sins, each sin gives you 10% more DPS. (That you don't spend)On how to progress , check back on your newborn stategy, but this time it'll be alot faster.Focus on getting Bulimia maxed out on the next 4-5 Amnesias, you will get 75% less cooldown, giving you a almost spammable 1 and 2 skill, and a fair amount of the other skills, giving you quick, almost free boss fights every few minutes!Repeat this until you have… every Illness at level 3-5 (the duration on skills for instance!), maxed out Bulimia and have Delirium at 10 and Autophobia at 15.Make sure you also have about 100-200 sins stored. If this is not the case, do more Amnesias. And prey to the gods of RNG to get some good equipment with stats like Critical Damage, Skill Recharge or Chest Find during those Amnesias.Ready for more! (10~20 Amnesias)Alright, now start by going back to Stage 160 with your newfound powers.Stage 160-~280:As I said earlier, Dendroid starts to lose power at this point, but this is where things get interesting now;Upgrade Cobra, Scorpion and Lilith to 1000 atleast, and then slowly in 25 steps only! (no 10 levels or 16 levels into it because it adds no real notiable damage) From now on just pick the cheapest upgrade with a considerable amount of damage! You will notice that alot of Level 600~1000 minons are complete BAD compared to Cobra, Scorpion, Lilith Level 1000~1200, and at that point they cost the same! (check by yourself! Also depends slightly on your enchantments you got)By the time you have the Cobra at 1250~, Scorpion at 1200~ and Llilith at 1000~ and the others around 1000~700 (except the most recent ones like Dendroid, Centipede) you will hit the Stage 280 mark and be able to buy the long awaited Spider!Spider gives you a free race to about Stage 300 by just upgrading her casually when you have the money. She does tons of damage.Stage 300I stop here, because I keep Amnesia myself as we speak, on 340 it got quite slow to me and there was no point in going further because I need better equipment. Thank you for reading, and I hope it helped :3 I will update this soon, I'm pretty tired right now but thought I'll finish it!
