Simple guide that provides a fix for users using 10th and 11th gen cpu’s

Identifiying this is your problem

Users with the problem this guide fixes have a few common traits

• Game crashes after clicking play (more or less) instantly
• Game launches when there is no internet connection
• After launching with no internet connection, once connection is established, the game crashes after a while
• Usually have a 10th or 11th gen Intel CPU

This is tested to work on windows 10 on these Intel CPUs:

• Pentium N4200
• Core i7-1065G7
• Core i5-11600k
• Core i5-1035G4

Solution

1. Open Control Panel
   

2. Go to System & Security
   

3. Go to System
   

4. Press Advanced system settings (This may look different depending on your version)
   
   

5. Press Environmental Variables
   

6. Create a new System Variable (NOT USER VARIABLE)
   

7. Enter the following into the Variable name box: OPENSSL_ia32cap
8. Enter the following into the Variable value box: ~0x20000000
   

9. Now press OK
10. Start the game and enjoy
