Overview

This is a guide on how to rush (attacking early and strong) with Japan, using samurai’s and musketeers :DIT ROCKS!!!

Required cards

4 villagers
3 Samurai
5 Ashigaru
5 Yumi
4 shrines
700 gold
700 food
Advanced Rice Patty

Age 1

2 vils on crates (food crates first), the rest on orchard
As soon as you have 100 food, start building the vils

Send you explorers to look for wood treasures

Build as many shrines as you can afford. Look for wood treasures to be
able to build more.
(Do not build market)

All vils should be on food

When you have 13 vils age up with the Torii Gates
Continue to build vils
DO NOT SEND A SHIPMENT!
While aging:
4 on gold
6 on food
4 on wonder
Send all built vils to gold/food as they come in

Make sure you explorer has found a good forward base spot for the rickshaw

If you get a second shipment in age 1, save it.

Age 2

As soon as you age up, send the 3 sam card, and then the 4
shrine card (after the sams)
As soon as you age up:

Build the barracks from the rickshaw at your forward base spot
do not forget to bring the samurai

When the 4 shrines come in, place them strategically, but get one
built right off the bat, you are gonna need some pop really soon

When the barracks builds, start 5 sams.

Continue to build vils the whole time. More vils should be on food than gold

When the five sams finish, build 5 ashi and send the 5 ashi shipment

As soon as the Ashi are done, build five more.
As soon as you have 10/15 ashi, and 8-9 sams, ATTACK!

Ignore all of the buildings, except the TC and the barracks. Barracks
takes priority If he Colonial Militias,
run off and sneak around killing the vils until the MM health goes to
zip, then attack again.
The TC should crumble…
Keep pumping out ashi to give the sams cover fire.
The TC should go down, unless they got a sizable force faster then
you, or they held off the attack via great MM micro and/or epic turtle

Send all of those military shipments, escpecially the 5 Yumi (two of them)
If the TC DID go down, good job, it is usually gg for them.

If the TC did NOT go down:

Try to boom with you cherry orchards and advanced plantations and set
yourself up for a long game.

Run off if you get overpowered by enemy units, only to attack with
again with a bigger force.

Tips

-Don’t forget to build the orchards right next to your TC, so you can
vil dance if you need to.

-never let your sams take on a bigger force alone, escpecially not Light Infantry.
Their counter infantry skills are… lacking

-Dont be afraid to switch you eco to wood, so you can take out those infantry.

Souix
Ports
German
French (I know, CDB are OP, but that is just the way it is).

Not reccomended against:
Dutch (skirms are a… nightmare)
Aztec (oh my gosh… I hate you big button)
Chinese (Disciples should be outlawed)
