Keg locations on each island.
Getting Started
Kegs are spread across each of the islands and can be returned to the inkeeper for gold. They are not required for any achievement other than maybe a stepping stone for Viking Blademaster. You do not need to collect all the kegs to buy all the moves. I had slight over 20000 gold in the end picking up 90% of the gold and all the kegs.
In general, you can find all the kegs by searching the coastline. They are not shown on your map even if you buy the treasure map. They will glow similar to gold bags and pots.
Niflberg
This island is small enough that you should be able to find most of them without a guide.
Keg 1: Right outside your starting encampment to the north-west
Keg 2: Right outside your starting encampment to the north-east
Keg 3: Northeast of Brighthelm on the beach.
Keg 4: Beach near the battle arena.
Keg 5: Beach to the north of battle arena.
Keg 6: On the beach near a camp west of the quary.
Keg 7: Along the coastline just outside the cave after you get to the second part of the island.
Keg 8: West of the pier north of Darkwater
Keg 9: Abandoned ship northwest of Darkwater.
Galcliff
2 of the kegs can be retrieved before Holdenfort battle. While the others are not inaccessible, they are easier to retrieve after the battle.
Keg 1: Southeast of the Distillery along the path to the mercenaries.
Keg 2: Along the coast west of the first watchtower.
Keg 3: Northeast of Holdenfort, only accessible from outside the fort.
Keg 4: Hidden in a steam below a bridge, near the Lumber Mill leystone.
Keg 5: East side of the beach west of Lumber Mill.
Keg 6: West side of the beach west of Lumber Mill at North Beach Camp.
Keg 7: At the bay ruins, hidden behind a wall.
Keg 8: At Calberg beach to the south.
Keg 9: At Calberg beach to the north.
Isaholm
Some of the kegs in Isaholm are well hidden. 7 can be retrieved before Thornvik, the remaining can only be retrieved after the battle.
Keg 1: Along the water west of the landing camp.
Keg 2: Further along the coast west of your landing camp, south of a leystone. Northeast of the camp at cold beach.
Keg 3: West of the camp at cold beach.
Keg 4: To the east of the first watchtower on the lower level.
Keg 5: South west side of the island near a small camp and abandoned boat.
Keg 6: West of Thornvik down near the lava.
Keg 7: North east of Thornvik.
Keg 8: Mountain pass overlooking your landing camp after Thornvik.
Keg 9: In the water west of Fellkeep.
