Overview
When you run out of carrots the rabits only seem to taunt you, there is however a way to catch get their meat without ever crafting a trap.Benifits: no need for carrots or traps, so while exploring thats 2 extra inventory slots you can useDraw Backs: all other rabits near the player will run into their hole when you kill a rabit, may take a few swings to actuly kill the rabit, wasting time for the player (their is however a nack to the timing)
How To(Quick)
- work out which rabit owns which hole
- stand on said hole
- atack/chase rabit
- once far enough from its hole (and prefrably other rabits as they hide when you kill one) try to time your atack for when the rabit is hopping back for best results

How To (detailed)
Rabits all have a rabit hole asigned to them, you may have noticed this while playing a rabit once scaird will do anything it can to get back to a perticula hole ignoring all other nereby rabit holes.
this said if the rabit ends up runing twords you its ai will cause it to run in the oposit direction and stop trying to get to its hole.
using this you can stop the rabit hiding in its hole by standing between its hole and the rabit, sadly however the rabit turns around just before combat range and so with out some luck or practice it may take a few swings.
sadly there is no sure fire way to tell which rabit hole is ownd by which rabit, however with some educated guesses you can narrow it down
rabits will tend to move closer to their hole often, this helps them stay close to there hole when night falls, also this means the closest rabit to the hole is most probably the owner.
an easy way to ensure you at lest corner one rabit is to stand on a hole and walk at a rabit
if you have guessed correctly it will run at you then away
the best method i have found is to try and second guess when a rabit is about to move (after they get a certen distance from their hole they will begin trying to hop back often) and if you click on the rabit to atack as the rabit is moving it will have less time to “react” as to start running away it will have to finish its action, this is more likly to give results
- i advise using a tool of some kind as i am unsure as to weather a punch will kill a rabit in one shot
- try to chase the rabits away from the rest of the rabits as they wont hide if you are far enough away alowing for multiple kills
