Overview
A basic understanding of space vocabulary.
Delta-V
Delta-V: it’s not your fuel, or your burn time, or your TWR (I’ll cover that later.) It is your “maximum change of velocity.” Basically, it’s your ship’s range. A delta-v map can be found here:

TWR
TWR or Thrust to Weight Ratio: the ratio of your thrust compared to your weight. Basically, it’s how easily your craft gets off the ground.
Apoapsis/Periapsis and other orbital stuff.
Apoapsis: the highest point in your orbit.
Periapsis: the lowest point in your orbit.
Radial in/out: your rocket pointing directly up or down.
Anti/normal: your rocket on its side.
Prograde: the way your rocket’s velocity is pointing.
Retrograde: the opposite of prograde.
