How to Live as Wigfrid: Render your farms and crock pots useless.

How to Live With Wigfrid

How to Live:

Step 1: Generate world

Step 2: Explore your world
Find the Pig King and a Desert Biome. It is ideal that these two biomes are near eachother but as long as you can traverse easily between the two you’re good. This is where you wil make your base (Optional/Ideal: Walrus Camp)

Step 3: TUMBLEWEEDS
Collect Tumbleweeds for tons of grass, twigs, gravedigger items, and misc. other items.

Step 4: Glory to the King
Give gravedigger items (Frazzled Wires, Gnomes, Rubber Bungs, and Gord’s Knots can be found in tumbleweeds) to the king and bathe in your riches.

Step 5: Make Alchemy Engine
Once youve got a camp going (Fire Pit, Alchemy Engine, and a few Chests) make gold tools. You now have renewable gold, these will come far handier than flint tools. Also, gold is useful for making Wigfrid’s battle spears and helmets.

Step 6: Drying Racks and Food
Make lots ‘o Drying Racks and dry your surplus of meat. Where will you get this meat, I’ll tell ya’.

Food:
You will never even need ] Crock Pots or Farms. They are optional, but not nearly necessary.

1) Spider Den: when possible, destroy a Tier 3 spider nest or two and bring them close, but not too close, to your base. These provide Monster Meat, Glands, and Silk along with the health and sanity that Wigfrid regains from fighting.

2) Pigs: You’ve presumably settled near the Pig King as stated before. Now, with your monster meat, feed 4 to a Pig. The Pig after eating 4 of the meat will turn into a Werepig. Hit it twice, back off, hit it twice, back off, kite it easily. You will get 2 Meat and 1 Pig Skin. Thats TRIPLE as much as you’d get from a normal pig, and the other pigs won’t target you for killing the Werepig.

3) Volt Goats: In the Desert, you’ve located, there will be 1-2 herds of Volt Goats. They can reach around 7 goats in size. Kill them until theres only 2 so they can reproduce. Meaty profit!

4) Most, importantly, VULTURES. These mobs are one of the most underrated mobs in the game and I originally ignored them completely.

-Get 3-4 of any kind of meat, preferably monster meat (In fact, any kind of vegetable, berries, or seeds might work as well).
-Go to the vultures in the desert.
-Set down the meat and back off. A vulture will come down to eat it. The vulture will become aggressive once it nears the meat. Kill it for 1 Drumstick and 1-2 Morsels.
-Pick up your meat (Hopefully the Vulture didn’t eat one but thats why you brought more than one)
-Rinse and Repeat

Using this method, I was able to get 8-12 Drumsticks and 10-18 Morsels before nighttime every day. Once you have a surplus of food, do the other game things.

Dry all your meats when possible. Make at least 9 Drying Racks. A handy supply of Jerky or Small Jerky can help restore health and/or sanity in dire situations.

OTHER GAME THINGS
-Farm MacTusk for Walrus Tusks and Tam o’ Shanter
-Leave a nearby Suspicious Dirt Pile until winter and hunt it down on the first day. Easy and fast way to get Puffy Vest
-Puffy Vest + Tam o’ Shanter = Winter Survived
-If you kill Deerclops, make Eyebrella, or save the Eye for a Houndius Shootius and make a Rain Coat instead.
-Tree Farms. Make lots of treeguard buddies. Lure bosses to them.
-Make healing salves from spider glands. Get the ash from burning extra grass and twigs from tumbleweeds.

Hope I helped. Now go out there and never starve again.
