ACT 1, Chapter 1 – The Mechanic (Motel)

(Premise: Almost all these pages can be found BEFORE going ahead with the objectives/story, which is safer as there won't be enemies except for a couple locations)

Manuscript 1/21 - Alan Wake, the Writer
At the beginning you'll find the torch and the gun. You will find the page right after the very first 2 Takens.
Manuscript 2/21 - The Splitter
From there you'll have to run from the wave of Takens coming out of the Oil Tower. Run towards the light at the Motel compound entrance. From there at your left you will find a Gas pumping station and some trucks parked on the other side of the road. Run towards them, get on the back of the last truck on the right and look for the page on a rock.
Manuscript 3/21 - Pages and Instincts
From here turn back and head to the gas pumps, go past them and head towards the caravan with the TV. Before you get to it look on your left at the fence. There's the page!
Manuscript 4/21 - The Devil Is in the Details
Now turn back to the main road, head right (away from the Motel and the gas pumps) towards the yellow jeep and the railway. The page is on the right fence just past the rails
Manuscript 5/21 - Rewriting Reality
From here look back, along the railway you will notice a "house-train station-warehouse-whatever" and a big train wagon. Go between them, and head to the yard over there. Head right towards the far oil pumps and you'll notice the page on the rock next to the fence.
Manuscript 6/21 - Hunting Mr. Scratch
Now get back to the Motel compound and go ahead towards the Diner. Before you get there head to the big oil rig on the right.
Manuscript 7/21 - Too Many Legs
Now you can get to the Diner. To the backyard, to be precise, by the left side of the building. The letter is on a rock.
Manuscript 8/21 - New Reality: The Satellite
Finally you can go ahead with the story XD
Go to the motel yard and talk with Emma in the garage. She'll give you the page. That was easy... XD
Manuscript 9/21 - The Twisted Mirror
Go ahead with the story and do everything you must. Once you have been given the keys of the diner and found the motel keys inside there you will find the last page of this section in the motel room next to the radio on the yard.

ACT 1, Chapter 2 – The Scientist (Observatory)

Manuscript 1/16 - Success
Enter the observatory gate and look at the front of the fire truck.
Manuscript 2/16 - The Genesis of Mr. Scratch
Proceed by the rising road, and get to the next "Deliveries" building. The page is on the left in front of the door.
Manuscript 3/16 - The Spiders
Follow the road to the observatory main entrance, look left at the white container, the page is on its left.
Manuscript 4/16 - Fighting the Taken
Proceed on the road that goes downhill, reach the other smaller observatory, get to the small parking lot. The page is on the concrete traffic island, right in front of you.
Manuscript 5/16 - Pressure
Go back to the observatory main entrance and proceed to its left side. The page is on a rock.
Manuscript 6/16 - New Reality: Fragment 1
Story related, can't be missed. Just follow the objectives and the story.

ACT 1, Chapter 3 – The Curator (Drive-In Theater)

Manuscript 1/16 - The Grenadier
Turn immediately back and reach the main Theater sign seen at the beginning of the cutscene. The Page is right on its feet.
Manuscript 2/16 - Bright Falls
Reach the building pointed as your objective, but don't get inside yet. Head to its rear passing by the left of the bulding. The page is near the dumpster.
Manuscript 3/16 - A Car in Flight
Reach the large parking zone. After the cutscene don't go into the parking lot, but look on the right and follow the "short wall" to the flipped car with flashing headlights. Now you should see the page on a rock ahead.
Manuscript 4/16 - What Really Matters
Staying at the entrance of the parking zone you should notice a safe haven ahead. On its left there's an orange car with flashing headlights and an open trunk. The page is inside there.
Manuscript 5/16 - Alice
Reach the fence surrounding the current generator building. Go past the gate and follow the road until you reach the backyard. Reach the safe haven, as the page is right there, in the shack.

ACT 2, Chapter 1 – Setback (Motel)

Manuscript 10/21 - The Spectre
Back again in the canyon, the page is right in front of you.
Manuscript 11/21 - The Appearance of Mr. Scratch
After the tight corridor, the page is under the shack on your right, the same shack where you set the music playing.
Manuscript 12/21 - My Best Friend
Before you arrive at the motel there's a shack with a truck, shotgun and ammos. The page is at the left of the shack.
Manuscript 13/21 - Emma Sloan
Now head towards the Diner. The page is right on a table by the entrance
Manuscript 14/21 - Night Springs, the Cult TV Show
Now run towards the gas pumps, reach the caravan and on its right there's a dismantled bus. The page is on its front part.
Manuscript 15/21 - Night Springs, Arizona
AFTER YOU TALK TO EMMA (Thank me later) Reach the railroad then head right, reach the train wagon by the big ruined sign. The manuscript is down there on a fence.
Manuscript 16/21 - Wake's Friends
After the cutscene you have to explore again the motel rooms. Before looking into the same room head for the room facing on the road with the ice machine nearby (a star on your map will confirm its position)

ACT 2, Chapter 2 – Progress (Observatory)

Manuscript 7/16 - Dr. Meadows
Get past the gate and on the left there's a fenced area with 3 Enormous cylinders. The page is behind them (between the two on the right, to be precise)
Manuscript 8/16 - Cosmological Truths
Proceed again up to the "Deliveries" building. The page is on your right on a wooden box, as soon as you enter the area.
Manuscript 9/16 - The Darkness
From there proceed through the opened gate near you, follow the path to the car (your actual objective). You'll notice the page past the broken fence on the edge. Be careful and approach it slowly, better safe than sorry.
Manuscript 10/16 - The Nature of Stories
Reach the Observatory main entrance. The page is inside the white truck with the carbine and ammos.
Manuscript 11/16 - The Taken
This time from the main entrance of the observatory proceed to its right side. You'll find the page on some boxes.
Manuscript 12/16 - Lost in the Dark Place
From there reach down the smaller observatory building, this time stay on the right side, In the area with the pipes. The page is beyond them, on a rock.
Manuscript 13/16 - New Reality: Fragment 2
Story related, can't be missed. As in the previous act just follow the objectives and the story.

ACT 2, Chapter 3 – Relapse (Drive-In Theater)

Manuscript 6/16 - The Dangers of Creation
Follow your objective but don't get into the building yet: the page is outside, just left of the stairs.
Manuscript 7/16 - Equilibrium
Head down towards the parking lot, but before you get there head right, through the small parking lot with the safe haven, and walk to the Souvenirs shop. On its left there's a wooden panoramic railing. The page is right over there.
Manuscript 8/16 - The Doppelganger
From there get down to the parking zone. The page is right at the theater screen's feet.
Manuscript 9/16 - The Plan
Now reach the safe haven by te small concrete building with the TV inside. Then go STRAIGHT south. You will meet a group of rock on the right/past the Projectors building. The page is on one of those rocks.
Manuscript 10/16 - Mr. Scratch's Trap
Head south-west towards the windmill and the shack. The page is right there.
Manuscript 11/16 - Survival in the Dark Place
At the generator building's gate get inside and head left. Go in that direction as much as you can, then head right you should be able to see the small table with the page on it.
Manuscript 12/16 - Serena Valdivia
As soon as you get inside the building don't head left towards the switches, but head right. The page is right there.

ACT 3, Chapter 1 – Resolved (Motel)

Manuscript 17/21 - Old Gods of Asgard
Again in the canyon, when you meet the new enemy don't get too distracted, the page is right there. Just look on your left, it's on a piece of wood.
Manuscript 18/21 - Barry and The Old Gods
Now get on the main road, head right and stay on the right side of the road. When you reach the diner and the oil rig turn right again and reach the gate uphill. The page is right on the pole.
Manuscript 19/21 - Old Gods In The Studio
Now back to the motel, the page is right down the Big Motel Sign!
Manuscript 20/21 - The Giant
Now once inside the motel inner yard (the one with the garage) move on, go south past the radio on the table, then walk up the stairs o get to the pool. The page is on a table.
Manuscript 21/21 - Emma and Mr. Scratch
The Last page is again by the Caravan.

ACT 3, Chapter 2 – Completed (Observatory)

Manuscript 14/16 - Everything Is As Real As Everything Else
Past the gate, this time take the left road and once at the smaller observatory the page is right before it's parking lot, on the right side.
Manuscript 15/16 - Dr. Meadows and Mr. Scratch
Head to the observatory main entrance. Then go down to the other road on the right (the one that takes to the Deliveries, not the small Observatory). The page is behind the sign, few steps ahead.
Manuscript 16/16 - New Reality
Story related, can't be missed. Same as in the previous acts.

ACT 3, Chapter 3 – United (Drive-In Theater)

Manuscript 13/16 - Serena and Mr. Scratch
After you restore power and head back to the parking lot don't go up the concrete stairs yet, but go ahead. The manuscript will be on a rock.
Manuscript 14/16 - Focusing The Beam
The next page is really close. Up the stairs, there's the safe haven by the small buiding with the TV inside. The page is next to the TV.
Manuscript 15/16 - Alice's Film
DON'T PROCEED WITH YOUR OBJECTIVE YET. Before you proceed reach the main entrance of the Drive-In. Don't go past the ticket booths, but turn left towards the yellow car with the flashing headlights, go in the dirt, turn 90° left again and go uphill. The page is right on the rock.
Manuscript 16/16 - The Clothes
Now get outside the Drive-in, then past the ticket booths, turn right, go ahead and look right again. It will be on a cactus.
