Overview
You have 2 months to create a map that uses a new game mechanic or system. This challenge is designed to make you think and innovate, pushing the VR medium forward.

New Game Mechanic
Create a new system that was not heavily used in the base game. Some ideas include flares, conveyor belts, some sort of weapon/tool, or just shoveling dirt.
This theme is meant to make you think and come up with something new. You don’t have the limitations of a flat pancake game.
Bonus Challenges
These are optional bonus challenges that do not count towards your score.
1. One mechanic, many uses. Your mechanic(s) are used in multiple ways.
2. Multiple mechanics.
3. Your new mechanic is not a flare or physical flashlight.
Judging
Maps will receive a score for each category. Your total score is the average of all categories.
Detail
Visual & Audio detail. How pretty your map looks & sounds.
Gameplay
How fun your map is to play.
Theme
How creative and engaging your mechanic is.
Maps will be judged by Gvarados, Diomonder, Dredile, and a special guest!
Rules & Info
1. You can submit up to two entries, but only one can win.
2. Maps must have an ending and return to the main menu.
Send a “Command” input to a point_clientcommand with the parameter “map startup”
3. You can work as a team or solo.
4. This is a challenge, not a contest. You’re allowed to enter your map into other contests/challenges.

Upload your map to the Steam Workshop any time before the deadline and complete the google forum at [link]
