List of Mdisks
There is total of 14 Mdisks in game.
1) Game Save Disc
Purpose – save game storage.
How to obtain – available from the beginning of the game. (You still need to access Mdisk Terminal to use it.)
2) Mr. De Castellac
Purpose – story item.
How to obtain – given to you during the story.
3) The Pearl and the Currents
Purpose – story item.
How to obtain – given to you during the story.
4) For Jade
Purpose – story item.
How to obtain – given to you during the story.
5) Surveillance Camera
Purpose – story item.
How to obtain – found in a Mdisk holder near the closet that holds Pey’j Jet-Boots.
6) Hillyan Army Databank
Purpose – (kind of) bonus content, guide (enemies and their weak spots).
How to obtain – found in the Nutripils Factory in a room opposite the closet that holds Pey’j’s Jet-Boots.
7) Beluga Check-Up
Purpose – story item.
How to obtain – found on the desk near the Beluga (once you get access to Beluga).
8) Animal Species
Purpose – bonus content (photo album of all the species on Hillys).
How to obtain – complete the Science Center’s photo inventory (make all the animal photos, including one in space).
9) IRIS 511
Purpose – story item.
How to obtain – collected in Ming-Tzu’s backroom.
10) IRIS 512
Purpose – story item.
How to obtain – collected in Ming-Tzu’s backroom.
11) IRIS 513
Purpose – story item.
How to obtain – collected in Ming-Tzu’s backroom after finishing Nutripils factory quest.
12) IRIS 514
Purpose – story item.
How to obtain – collected in Ming-Tzu’s backroom after finishing Slaughterhouse quest.
13) Disc Game
Purpose – bonus content, mini-game (the same you play with Francis, but with customizable rules).
How to obtain – this one is a bit unusual:
This Mdisk is stored in password box in Acuda Bar, near Francis and his game table. But you need to obtain the password.
You may also notice “Internet Code” thing for your saves.
Back in the days game was released there was a special page (The Darkroom[beyond-good-and-evil.ubi.com]) on official game website where you could register and post your Internet Codes to participate in rankings for your game stats, and also play a mini-game to obtain a password. Now it is not available anymore, but there are few fan pages where you can still get the code: you can type in internet code here[darkroom.bgemyth.net] or upload save file here[fado.altervista.org] and it will tell you the password.
14) Pearl Game
Purpose – bonus content, mini-game.
How to obtain – rewarded by Mammago for collecting all the Pearls in the game.
