Intro

Welcome to my 1st ever Steam guide. If you’re reading this I would highly, HIGHLY recommend aiming for the Normal Ending first as you’ll need to do 2 playthroughs to get all the achievements (3 if you’re aiming for the True Ending on a 1st playthrough). New Game+ makes a true end run so much better and easier that it is recommend to save that for last because of all the grinding that will occur during your second run.

My walkthrough is for the NORMAL Ending only that way you don’t accidentally get locked into the Normal/True Ending when aiming for either one. If you want True Ending, follow the walkthrough until the start of Hyper Dimension Neptunia G where the requirements start coming into play. Heart Dimension Neptunia H has the same steps as the Normal Ending and you’ll know you’re in the True Ending route is there’s another Boss Battle (Uzume alone) after the defeat of Dark Orange *Refer to True End Route*.

Important

After beating the game, you’ll get to carry over your progress with additional benefits:

EX Characters– Can use ANY character you want from the start of the game (Sometimes certain characters will required to be in the front row for bosses). There’s also a bug concerning the DLC characters Million Arthur, God Eater and Nitroplus where certain events won’t appear so it is suggested to leave this option off if you purchased these DLC characters before starting New Game+ or if you missed some of their events on your 1st playthrough.

Dark Orb– No more annoying Random Encounters on the map

Dash Sneakers– Move twice as fast in dungeons

Rocket Jump– Jump very high in the Golden summits or dungeons that are similar

Sturdy Heart– Won’t get kicked to the title screen after getting a Game Over in Neplunker

If you want to collect all the treasures in the guide (including hidden treasures), it is important to have these Flag and Key Items.

Jumping Star– Defeat Steamax at AffimaX Base near the end of Hyper Dimension Neptunia G.

Breaker Lv. 1– Craft the Power Bracelet with the Mystic Ruby earned from defeating Dark Purple and 1 Steel Bracelet.

Breaker Lv. 2– Get the Hyper Bracelet Plan by investing in Planeptune Industrial to Lv. 5 (Planeptune Dev 4) and beat Neplunker for the Hyper Booster. Craft the Hyper Bracelet by using a Power Bracelet, Hyper Booster, and 3 Evonium.

White Orb– A quest reward for the completion of [S] Memories of That Day. The White Orb allows users to roam free in any dungeon without being spotted by any enemy or initiate any battle by coming into contact with them (Symbol Attack instead). This flag item is helpful for the annoying Consecutive Symbol Attacks hidden treasure requirement.

Rocket Jump– Obtained after starting New Game+. This flag item makes obtaining treasures during the Golden Summit dungeons far easier by allowing the user to high jump to hard to reach locations or take “shortcuts” to obtain treasure

Breaker Lv. 1 or 2 (Get 2 to make the process easier) are required to break the objects for the following items: (Scouts can also be sent to these locations to farm materials)

These boxes are obtained from Lv. 5 Public Relations Investments in Planeptune, Lastation, Lowee, Leanbox, Uzume’s Hideout (later in the game) and Ruins of the Heart which cost 4980 Credits each. Only 1 can be obtained from each location per playthrough or they can be stolen from certain enemies in the Colosseum which require a very high level.

Most people will write them off containing nothing more than weapons that can be bought later on in the game but they actually contain weapons that CAN’T be found in any dungeon, the shop, or dropped by any monster. Rare means the weapon can be obtained from the shop during the True Ending (Revival Route) while Exclusive means the weapon can only be obtained from the boxes RNG and all.

This item is mandatory to craft Non-Paid DLC Ultimate Weapons for all characters (except Neptune since Mechanical Blade: Zenith can be found in Senmuu Labyrinth). It can be obtained as a reward from the Lv. 999 [S] Squeedmonsoon Colossuem Battle once per playthough or dropped from enemies in other high level Colosseum battles. Sadly, since IFI is too lazy to patch this game, it will take FOREVER to reach Lv. 999 as the bonus EXP% for 100-hit combos is a pitiful 5% compared to 75% in the Eastern versions of the game.

This in turn makes these weapons more of a completionist task than a helpful one as the game is easily beatable without them.

Basics

Decided to add this section since some people still don’t understand the mechanics of this game having jumped from the Re;Birth trilogy or just Re:Birth 3. First off, the game is called Megadimension Neptunia VICTORY II not Re;Birth 4 which should give you a hint it is more based on the PS3 original. That aside, I’ll just focus on how the Scout system works for finding Hidden Treasures, Tough Enemies, and finding other scouts. You must be on Hyper Dimension Neptunia G to first use this feature.

I’ll cover more later on but this is just for the individuals that think VII has the Remake System, Stella’s Dungeon, EXE Drives executed with SP and other stuff from the Re:Birth series. I’ll cover Hidden Treasure first.

Achievements (2/3)

Gather any 4 of the following discs (DL ROM, External HDD, Red Light Disc, External SSD, Black Ray Disc, White Ray Disc, Orange Disc, Infinidisc) then acquire 4 Novel chips [Lily Lv.5] (Hidden treasure in Westwind Ravine) from 2 playthroughs or substitute with 2 Board Games chips [Lily Lv.4]. Next initiate a battle and kill all the enemies until one is remaining. Bunch your teammates together and spam AOE (Healing Circle, Field, Rain) healing or buffing items (INT, AGI, STR Booster, Super Panacea) until your Lily Rank reaches 10 with one party member

Same as Lovey-Dovey except 1 character must have Lily Rank 10 with everyone else (Ex. Neptune – Noire, Blanc, Vert, Nepgear, Uni, Rom, Ram, IF, Compa, Uzume, Adult Nep, B-Sha, C-Sha, K-Sha & S-Sha (DLC characters do not count).

• BEFORE attempting this make sure you have the following: White Orb, Dark Orb, EXE Driver, Dash Sneakers, Jumping Star, Hyper Bracelet (Breaker Lv. 2)
• Have everyone above Lv 99+ as most of the Hidden Treasure requirements involve clearing the entire dungeon of enemies
• Do it on your 2nd playthrough as the requirements reset after every new playthrough.

One of the most annoying achievements in the game due to RNG. Getting all 33 cards (4SR, 12R and 17C) requires tons of save scumming and luck. In order to get the cards, you need to use CPU chips to heal or they can be opened manually in the item menu outside of battle. You can easily get CPU Chips x64 (Can only hold 30) by doing Quiz Millionep in Planeptune, Leanbox, and Ruins of the Heart or they can be farmed earlier in the game at Halo Forest during Vert’s Arc in Hyper Dimension Neptunia G.

Total: 33 cards

Another achievement that requires constant saving/reloading. Do Quiz Millionep in Planeptune and Lowee to get Gamindustri Chocolate x32. If you need more, grind the rest in Hex Grasslands.

Total: 16 Figurines

Same as Mayor except only 1 city needs to have all investments maxed.

Raise Uzume’s Hideout Public relations to Lv. 10 with 228,000 credits and earn 250,000,000 in the process. If you’re struggling to earn 228,000 Credits, go back to Smash Box Stadium in Zero Dimension with Jumping Star and one of the treasures there should grant 98,000 Credits. Answering all the Quiz Millionep correctly will also grant 1,000,000 credits

You must raise Public relations to in each area to Lv. 6 and correctly answer ALL questions. You’ll know this has been completed if you are awarded 1,000,000 credits after the final question. Save the game before attempting the quizzes and reload if you mess up.

First you’ll need Plan: Get Thee Painting! from the Colosseum Fight [S] Loads o’ Dogoos. Next you’ll need 50+ million credits which can easily be earned by increasing Uzume’s Hideout Public Relations to Lv. 10 with 228,000 credits and selling the Delphinus processors near the end of the game. Develop all the pigments from the plan, buy at least 5 of every Outfit, Attachments, and Weapons to customize.

If you’re struggling, just use Next-Gen Vert’s Infinite Spear which easily does over 100 hits

• Discover Tacan Road in Lastation
• Grind Uni past Lv. 110, equip her with Revolver Gun α to execute a full rush combo

Look for the Numb Dogoo straight ahead

Keep initiating a battle until you see a formation like this

Wait until all 6 Numb Dogoo’s are bunched together

MASSIVE DAMAGE! with a single character. No Colosseum, party members, items, scouts, discs required although you can bring a back-up member to take out the 6th Numb Dogoo in the back after eliminating the first five in the front.

Discover Senmuu Labyrinth, use a scout with enemy change then search for the Giant Metal Dogoo on the 4th floor. Each defeat grants 10,000,000 EXP or 20,000,000 if you enter the dungeon with EXP +100% through scouts (DLC required)

Use 100 Formation Skills throughout the game. You can either tackle this task early when formation skills are first learned or….

Get the Flag Item EXE Driver then go the Colosseum Battle “Good-For-Nothings”. Kill Steamax and leave Affimojas in battle since he is immune to physical attacks until his cape is fully broken. Just spam formation skills until the achievement pops up or if he manages to die just start the fight again.

After developing the Hyper Bracelet, go to AffimaX Base – Hanger 1. In the far left hallway are about 13 destructible boxes (and more throughout the area) so bring plenty of Eject buttons and the achievement is yours.

True Ending Requirements

• View ALL the events
• When Neptune gets transported to Hyper Dimension by herself, go to Planeptune’s Basilicom. After viewing IF’s event, a sub event with Histoire “Histoire’s Reminiscence” should appear along with another event involving Noire.

*To make the process easier, go to any Nation (Planeptune, Lastation, Lowee, Leanbox) pick Gallery, Events, then Sub. If you’ve fulfilled the conditions, the sub events should be appear as either cleared or unfinished.

*Also DON’T activate HDD or get killed during Hyperdimension Neptunia G until after the share related events are completed as they both decrease shares.

• Converse: Neptune & Histoire Events
• Go to the Guild and accept “First, Some Practice”
• Head to First-Gen CPU’s Sanctuary and kill 8 Dogoos
• Report quest and view Histoire’s sub event “Like an Old Acquaintance?”
• After IF and Compa join the party, raise your shares to 60% through quests (or Public Relations Lv. 7) then head to the Basilicom and VIEW Histoire’s Converse sub event “Matching Memory”
• After viewing Compa’s event, go to the guild and accept “Histy’s Extermination Request 1”
• Head to First-Gen CPU’s Sanctuary again and kill 10 Delinquent Cats
• Report quest to view Chuko’s sub event “Search For a Childhood Game”
• Go to the Guild and accept “Histy’s Extermination Request 2”
• Go to Sakura Tree Row and kill 10 Red Dogoos
• Report quest to view Chuko’s sub event “Youthful Extremes”

• Raise Lastation’s to 40% either through quests or raising Public Relations to Lv. 4 with 18000 Credits
• Converse: Noire’s event “Noire’s Daydream”

• Raise Lowee’s to 40% either through quests or raising Public Relations to Lv. 4 with 18000 Credits

For the 4 CPU arcs I’ll just be explaining the outcome for the Normal Ending. Refer the true ending requirements BEFORE following this walkthrough as you’ll be locked out of the True Ending if you want in on the 1st playthrough or are trying to get it on the 2nd. Neptune’s Arc is the easiest to mess up due the extremely time limited quests at the beginning.

*Also Character order doesn’t matter when it comes to attaining the true ending. I just listed it that way since it’s the initial character order in the menu. Noire, Blanc and Vert all start with NO ITEMS and a measly 1000 credits while Neptune keeps your current inventory and credits. Breaker Lv. 1 and 2 are also disabled for the other three Goddesses besides Neptune.

• Send your scouts to Westwind Ravine to discover the hidden treasure requirement for the Lv. Novel Idea chip. You’ll need 4 Novel Idea Chips across 2 playthoughs in order to create discs intended for Lily Rank grinding.
• Easy EXP: When Golden Summit Lastation appears on the map, send scouts to the dungeon until Megavader is discovered. It’ll give 7000 EXP which will make to the grinding process easier to reach Lv. 30+.

I recommend just heading straight for the boss (If you don’t own OP DLC) while collecting items along the way because during this arc you’ll start off with NO items and credits from Zero Dimension Neptunia Z for Noire, Blanc and Vert’s arcs. Fighting the enemies is also a waste of time as Noire will never level up anyways and IT IS possible to get permanently stuck without Paid DLC. Also make sure to level up Noire and Uni to at least Lv. 30 if you didn’t purchase DLC as their EXE Drives will be a big help

• Halo Forest is a good place to farm for CPU Chips early in the game making the Card Master achievement less of a pain
• Easy EXP: Send scouts to Halo Forest to discover “Broiled Squeed (Lv. 34)” which grants 4520 EXP by default or “Ancient Dragon (Lv. 36)” which grants 5469 EXP by default (Use EXP scouts for both and the weaker mobs). Keep beating on weaker enemies until your party (Vert, Nepgear or Nitroplus [DLC]) are strong enough to down either foe.

Before getting started make sure you have any of the 4 following:

• DL ROM, External HDD, Red Light Disc, External SSD, Black ray Disc, White Ray Disc, Orange Ray Disc, Infinidisc
• A ton of AOE healing and buffing (Healing Circle, Field, Light, AGI, INT, STR Booster, Super Panacea)
• Pair Nepgear, Compa or K-Sha in the back row with any character to increase Lily Ranks more quickly

Next you’ll need 4 Novel Chip (Hidden Treasure in Westwind Ravine) or 2 Novel Chips and 2 Board Games chips.

Develop 4 discs and head to any area with a weak mob of enemies. Kill all except 1 so the grinding process can begin

Get everyone bunched and start spamming healing items with Lv. 4-5 Lily Discs

Characters should reach max lily rank after about 2-3 battles.
