This guide will tell you how to fix your game when on boot the menu cycles quickly and won’t take input.
Introduction
Some people, when starting the game, experience the issue the menu options cycle quickly and cannot be easily selected. You may or may not be able to press the space bar once and then after that the game is unresponsive. This is a quick fix that anyone can do.
The Fix
1. Navigate to the data folderfor Super Hexagon.
Note – Default Path: C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonSuper Hexagondata
2. Open the settings.dat file in notepad.
3. Find the line “<usejoypad>1</usejoypad>” and change the 1 to 0 (zero).
4. Save and close the settings file.
5. Play Game!
