Overview
Avia’s system of scoring militaries was introduced by Eagle shortly before the Forever War. In this guide, you will learn about the system, how to apply it, and what the best known countries’ scores are.
Sections and Criteria for Scoring
This section will explain what criteria and sections are needed to achieve a specific score. The system goes by six main criteria: quality/amount of training soldiers in that military must go through, which kinds of equipment those soldiers are issued, how well the military can apply/use tactics, how large the military is, how organized it is(things like how specific the tabs kept on soldiers are, how easily soldiers can give and receive orders, how uniform the military is, etc.), and how varied the issued equipment is among soldiers. Known flaws are that it doesn’t incorporate how ready the military is to deploy, whether or not the military can extend its reach beyond its borders, and how effective the military’s vehicles are, as equipment refers to infantry-carried supplies. It also has the same criteria appear in multiple sections, sometimes leading to unfair scores. For example, because the Excellent section shares two criteria with the Very Good section, it is impossible to get a perfect score of seven. It should also be noted that the system doesn’t recognize guerrilla warfare as a tactic.

Point System and Serial Numbers
A country’s serial number is determined from the criteria listed above, and its score can be deduced from its serial number. To determine a serial number, you will need to apply the correct criteria to a country, and then apply the correlating number. For example, if a criterion is in the “Very Poor” category, give it a one. If it is in the “Poor” category, give it a two, and so on. To find a score, add all the numbers in a serial number. If the serial number is 46, add four and six to get ten. Then, divide that number by the amount of numbers in the serial number. So, divide ten by two. That country’s score is five.
0-1.5 = Very Poor
1.5-2.5 = Poor
2.5-3.5 = Average
3.5-4.5 = Above Average
4.5-5.5 = Good
5.5-6.5 = Very Good
6.5-7 = Excellent
Most well-known countries’ serial numbers:
