Overview
This guide is a collection of player-submitted character designs for your delectation. Warning: might take a little time to load the page.
“Over here, squire! I need help with my codpiece!” – Mason Vanguard.
At this point, the thing I enjoy the most is not the gameplay, but creating new characters, seeing what works and what doesn’t, often going back to my older designs and see what I can improve, adjust colours a bit better, just do everything in my ability to make it better.
However, I am simply amazed how creative some of you people out there are! Like, you guys come up with ideas I couldn’t even think of, it’s just astonishing…
I would love to make a collection of some of the most creative, most impressive mercenaries out there, all put into a single guide. It will both serve as something you might want to scroll through very slowly, admiring other people’s works, but also hopefully help you find inspiration.
Rules for submitting.
To submit a character leave a comment down below.
1. Use High or Ultra graphics settings for your pictures.
2. Maximum of 3 screenshots per individual listing. You can provide more, but no more than 3 will be chosen. Cinematic* screenshots are welcome.
3. No Klan, naked guys, also refrain from posting meme characters.
4. Think of a name for your character, even something as generic as “Light Infantry” will do.
Nothing that could be considered offensive or inappropriate.
– Should your character have any sort of a backstory, feel free to add it with your submission.
Capture epic moments using the demorec feature, this guide will help you do just that!

Nobleman by yours truly.
What better way to get this collection rolling than throwing at you a couple of my own creations.
A Rather Chainmail-happy Gentleman by yours truly.
I just decided to make merry with chainmail and this is what I ended up with. Quickly became one of my favourite go-to 2-2-2s.
Fashionable Viking by yours truly.
This guy probably doesn’t even come close to looking like an actual, historical Viking, but what can you do eh? In fact to me he looks like someone who escaped from the Elder Scroll’s universe.

The Guardsmen by GiGi The Russian Hacker
The Guardsmen serves the Chimera Family, a prestigious noble lineage which has fallen on hard times. Its only surviving member, an old lord which can’t have children becomes insane under unknown circumstances and becomes a serial killer only known as the Laughing Death. A new lord takes the old one’s place, a ruthless leader coming from the Archaic Family. He kicks the guardsmen out from his lands for failing to stop the Laughing Death. The Guardsmen decides to make it his life dedication, to find and kill his old lord for betraying him and his now-dead friends. Although a shortage of coins forces the lad to join a mercenary company…
The Duelist by GiGi The Russian Hacker
The man himself is a tale, a legend, a myth, but is just as real as you or me. He is very easy to spot, wearing old yet well cared for plates of armour and a longsword with mysterious runes embeded within. It is said that the man does not speak, but is very verbal through his body language. There are many tales about his backstory or origin, but the one I believe in the most is this: Once upon a time there was a mercenary company. This man was its best warrior in 1 versus 1 duels, but something happened, something horrific, leaving only this Duelist alive. He now roams the lands, finding places to duel and fight, trying to find a foe to best him, a foe to end his life in honourable combat. But even if he dies now or tommorow, it is assured that kids for generations will listen to tales of The Duelist.

Jak by Jak Sharperten
This loadout specializes in duels but still can be used in group combat if needed. The Longsword will typically be used in most fights however the Arming Sword can be used for more quicker strikes, as a backup if disarmed, or even simply thrown at an enemy to help finish them off or if they prove out of reach. All in all though this is simply a set meant for one who likes to mix up their melee capabilities and not be overly concerned with ranged abilities. Strangely, the armor is able to be quite flexible as mercs using this tend to duck around and under blades more often than naught…even if they just get cleaved seconds later.
Storm Vermin by Jak Sharperten
Named after the viscous ratmen and inspired by the Storm Vermin, this equipment set has decent armor combined with the Halberd is able to cleave through multiple numbers while remaining out of reach. This is typically used to help defend or push through crowds, but is not particularly well suited for one on one combat nor is it best at fighting amongst comrades due to the tendency of horizontal swings to hit allies. However this is none the less formidable in the hands of someone that knows how to use the weapon.
The Storm Vermin equipment set also has a slight varrient in that the Halberd in favor for a crossbow and hand axe. It also has a higher tier helm to help avoid more unfortunate range attacks to such area. This is more tactically adverse as one can find themselves decent at both range and melee combat even excelling in both if one plays their hand right. In short though the Storm Vermin equipment set and the accompanying mercenaries using that set are formidable in combat and can easily hold down points and even push forward to crush the man-thing… I mean opposition.
