Achievements
Step by Step Achievement Completion
The following are listed in order of completion percentage by Mordhau Players Globally:
———————————————————————————————————————————–
89.0%
Complete the tutorial
This first one is quite self-explanatory as the game rewards the achievement upon completion of the tutorial. If the achievement does not load after the first try, simply give the tutorial another run through.
75.6%
Deflect a projectile with a strike
This is most easily done on the Frontline gamemode against aggressive archers, but any strike (mouse attack) against a projectile would successfully register as a projectile deflection. Make sure to leave enough time for your strike swing to reach the projectile.
70.8%
Kill an enemy after dying
By simply playing the game, you will surely obtain this achievement sooner or later. “Fleshwound” is a perk that allows for you to cheat death for 5 extra seconds with 0 health. If you are able to bring an enemy to 0 health to activate the enemy’s perk, allow yourself to be killed as they will die after the 5 seconds.
65.1%
Lose your head three times in a single match
This seems quite simple enough, but may take some time to complete depending on the skill level of the server you are in. Most players will obtain this Achievement very early on. The easiest way to do this is by not wearing head armour at all and fighting against enemies with large swords.
49.5%
Kill 5 enemies by trampling them with the horse
Press “E” on the horse at spawn whenever it is available in the Frontline gamemode. Trample through your enemies and strike terror into those in your way. It is recommended to have a longer weapon equipped when on horseback. Repeat these steps 5 times.

Video Settings
These settings and preferences have been built upon by hours of gameplay and watching widely known Mordhau players.
This section will cover the important details within the Video Settings of Mordhau:
———————————————————————————————————————————–
1
FOV is recommended to be set from a range of 80 to 110.
For those of you that do not know how this affects gameplay, here is a simple explanation:
The wider the FOV is, the more of your peripherals (left and right side of your screen) is available to you.
The advantage of this is shown through more gameplay awareness and to allow you to see multiple opponents and decrease the chances of enemies sneaking behind you from the sides.
Another important thing to note is that although you see more of your peripherals, everything would seem more squished and some things may appear thinner and distances will seem further. These are simply just illusions and may not be suitable for the style that you choose.
With a low FOV, objects in the game will be wider and you will feel limited in the vision but enemy models will seem bigger and may allow you to be more accurate in your swings.
The main message to take away from this explanation is to not go too extreme on either ends of the spectrum if you are not comfortable with distorting the way visuals are displayed to you in Mordhau. General advice would to be stick around the average / midway point as most FPS (first person shooters) have this FOV.
