Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Guide

More fire, MORE FLAME for Warhammer: Vermintide 2

More fire, MORE FLAME

Overview

A comprehensive guide to Sienna for the scrubs that think she’s trash. When in all actuality, Sienna is probably in my humble opinion the best all-arounder in the game.

Overview

Hey Vsauce michael here, today we’re going to be talking about the pyromaniac powerhouse that is Sienna Fuegonasus. Sienna has gotten a bad rep since the alpha tests due to the fact that a lot of her staple staves and abilities as well as her melee damage have taken a substantial hit since the last game. However; this does NOT mean that she is a trash character, many people just don’t understand how either the new balancing system for damage works or how the multipliers work now. Before I start the guide, I will direct you guys to this man’s video who I believe puts it best:

It’s always funny to me when people say the bolt staff is the worst staff in the game. When in reality, you’ll be rolling in so many mob kills you’ll have some very bored teammates who will likely be leaving the game in their grief-striken envy. Enough of all my crazy ranting ♥♥♥♥ though, let’s get down into the ♥♥♥-covered nitty gritty shall we?

Talents

So now let’s get going into the talents you should be choosing for Sienna. For the sake of being the minmaxing little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that I am, I won’t be discussing viable talent choices for Battlewizard. I know, you just got that brand spanking new collectors edition skin that you want to flaunt over all those 5 year olds who couldn’t afford the collectors edition with daddy’s bucks but just hear me out for a second:

BATTLE WIZARD ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCKS

Okay now that I got that out of the way let’s start with Pyromancer

This might seem a little obvious but if I may pontificate a bit, for your edification I will go into each talent individually and tell you why it’s the best and the rest are trash

TIER 1, LEVEL 5: Natural talent is the ONLY choice this tier by far, and the reason is obvious. Less overcharge generated means more shooty mcbangbang. Martial Study is garbage because Sienna should rarely be in melee and Focusing lens is only really useful for the bolt staff and even then meh.

TIER 2, LEVEL 10: If you’re playing as Sienna and you DON’T have a grim every game you’re simply playing the game wrong. I mean who the ♥♥♥♥ plays Vermintide and doesn’t get full grims/tomes? I’ll tell you who, plebs of course. Besides, while holding a grim this lovely talent will take a killing machine and turn her into a massive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ killing machine Therefore, Dissipiate is once again the only real choice this tier.

TIER 3, LEVEL 15: Ehhh, you can really choose anything here to be honest these all simply modify your passive and you can take or leave any of them. One with the Flame makes Pyromancer feel a little more like Unchained so I guess that’s kinda cool?

TIER 4, LEVEL 20: Get ready you stupid sons of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because here’s the GAAAAME CHANGER. You thought you were a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ monster before? well you better rubber band your nutsack because here’s the real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ meat of this class. Soul Snare by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FAR. imagine if each one of those mob rats you were mowing down like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Vietnam flamethrower gave you temp hp that you could simply VENT into your overcharge bar and then KEEP ON KILLING. That’s right ♥♥♥♥♥. Soul snare, if anyone tells you otherwise they are DUMB.

TIER 5, LEVEL 25: I’m not here yet (I know I’m bad) but in reality let’s face facts. Pyro’s ult is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥. It’s a decent special sniper on a relatively low cooldown but it doesn’t hold a candle up to Unchained’s. So might as well make it not as ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by reducing it’s cooldown so I’d reccommend Fiery Heart.

Wew I haven’t had a mouthful like that since the Fish Farewell Tour, now let’s hop right into our bondage fetishist marionette Unchained.

Alright guys, let’s dive into talents for Unchained. In reality, you should be playing both pretty similarly. There’s a give and take between Pyro and Unchained that would be a deal breaker between either or that I feel needs to be addressed first. First off, yeah it sucks with Unchained that you won’t get that lovely critical chance increase at high overcharge BUT, imagine being able to run into a boss and block a single hit and instantly drain all your overcharge. See where I’m getting at here?

The difference is frequency and squishiness. You’ll have a lot more sustain and survivability with unchained, but you’ll be limited dps wise as you won’t be the crit chance powerhouse that you get with Pyro. Oh well, needed to get that off my chest.

TIER 1, LEVEL 5: If Form of the Fire Wind wasn’t bugged last time I checked I’d have picked it in a heartbeat. But due to it being a hot mess right now do yourself a favor and give you’re self some more health with Volcanic body. Treat yourself, you work hard, you deserve it.

TIER 2, LEVEL 10: Literally pick any of them here they’re all pretty inconsequential. Going to half health after getting downed from a boss is neat though.

Tier 3, LEVEL 15: Once again Dissipiate, the difference here though is that with all that temp HP you’ll be getting from soulsnare you’ll be spending less of it to drain more overcharge. You’ll definitely be casting more frequently than Pyro which should help to close the dps gap but it’s not enough really Pyro is pretty insane.

TIER 4, LEVEL 20: Soul Snare once more, see above for why my friends.

TIER 5, LEVEL 25: Your ult is literally so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane and it does MORE power higher overcharge levels when you cast it. Therefore lower that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cooldown and get it more often. Tick, Tick, Tick.

Weapons, Stats, Trinkets.

As far as Weapons go, bolt staff trust me. you won’t be disappointed. Make sure you grab THIS trait for it though.

Heatsink is amazing, honest to god it is. Give yourself some crit chance on the staff as well and aim for the head, you’ll be golden mate. Chances are most of the time you’ll be spending Overcharger faster than you can generate it.

I’ll say that Melee weapon doesn’t matter a lot, I’d say grab some crit for it as well as I’m pretty sure that the stats stack per weapon so it’ll benefit your staff game. I personally prefer dagger as the crowd controlling potential for it is godly if you find yourself cornered with high overcharge.

Trinkets are another thing you should look out for. Trinkets have a very big effect on your overall powerlevel so you want to make sure you keep your trinkets up to date, if you have a weapon you can’t bare parting with it’s okay to hang onto it for a while as long as you keep your TRINKETS at high power level. Stats for them should be anything that increases your health and crit chance.

YOUR TWO MOST IMPORTANT STATS ARE HEALTH AND CRIT CHANCE AS SIENNA. END OF STORY. STACK THAT ♥♥♥♥.

THE END, GO NUTS ENJOY

I hope you enjoyed this guide as well as my rampant autism.
