this is my tale so far, if it can help you who find it, I wish you luck
The beginning
Crashed on this island. I dont hold out much hope of rescue, since it does not seem to be coming. I found this notebook, and thought I would start a record of my days, mostly to keep my sanity. Many days have passed before I started this, I didnt even keep count, being to busy at first trying to live, I had found a digital camera, so I have a few pics I have taken… I am really hoping someone can make sense of this.
It all started on the plane, that kid, Timmy? The unescorted kid, he just happened to be placed with me, he was asleep, then the plane went down… I dont know how it happened, but I woke up to him being picked up by a native and carried off.. I guess they thought I was dead, I passed back out, when I woke up it must have been a day or two at least, so hungry, and hurt.. sore all over. Found some booze, soda, and leftover airplane food, ate it all. Could not tell the difference in fresh and old.. Ha Ha. Had my backpack from the overhead, found an emergency axe in a stewardess, literally. Took it. Left out the plane.. looked around.
After a bit of searching I found some luggage and opened it, found clothes and some medicine, painkillers and aspirin and stuff, took it with me… man that aspirin was a godsend.
Been a day or so
Found a place on the beach. Found a yacht adrift, a sailboat. Went out to it and found a few things that have helped, the camera, a walkman, and a flaregun! No idea why that seems so important to me. But glad to have it.
I put up a little shelter by the rocks on the beach, added a fire. Went off to look at some luggage I found washed up on shore. More snacks, booze and clothes. Lots of Tennis balls?? WTH?
Decided to play at caveman, built a stone axe.. lol.
Found this as I was looking in the woods by the shelter.. Whats this mean? There are some people here?? This does not leave me feeling secure..
I have seen them…
I saw them,,, or they saw me first… Thus the head with the camera.. they stood up on the edge of the woods staring at me today.. I just stared back. I am not a sociologist, but I dont think they are friendly..
They came back in the evening.. they ran at me, I hit one a few times with my caveman axe, he ran off with the others..
Dear god, more came this morning,, I have to leave here, its not safe. A female came at me,, she wanted to kill me.. I beat them back… barely..
I found a dead body on the beach,,, I cant believe I did this, I cut it up.. I put its head on a stick by my camp like they do..
Found a place!
This seems good. Its out on a finger of a hill sticking out in the water. One big tree up at the top of it. I put up a shelter and my fire, I can see all around.
Its night, I see them moving down there, the leaders ?? have lights in skulls on their backs…
OMG I chose wrong I think, this morning all kinds of them were coming, they come to this tree to pray in the morning! I got to get out of here!
while looking around I found a few things… Two ponds of freshwater, with fish, an old anchor on the beach, and I know where they live. I found a small village… I stayed away.
Started a shack on the beach, have not moved to it yet.. I am going to hold out up here by the tree till my new shelter is done… I hope.. I put fire on both sides of the tree, found out I can cut up these lizards, ( which roast well btw ) and hook up their skins as like a coat.. It seems to help like armor…
Decided to look over the gear I have so far….
I forgot to mention, I found some plane circuit boards, and some change, got a crazy idea to make a bomb of sorts, an IED.
Also made a Molotov… love them Polish for that idea.
Found a sharp spear stick.. a fishing stick! Why didnt I think of that? Got me a fish with it to, but man, its tough work to fish that way….
Got my hut built
Made a small ‘safe’ place. Put a bed in it, and my fire.. put up a fire outside to. They came…. They didnt come in, but they were raising a ruckus,, I went out to see and they attacked me! I had to fight.
I killed two and they left… I did it again,, I made some human statues… effigies.. yeah thats the word.

This morning I took another look at my camp.
Got up a cabin!
Sweet! Built my cabin,, has a bed, and a fire, and a bench I made.. I feel like the king of the world…
A day or so later they came again,,, they were banging on the walls, but didnt try to come in.. I stood at the window and one jumped at me, I hit them several times.. a female came again,, I had to hit her several times, then they ran off.. I have to make this place safer.. lots of work ahead…
I started some walls.. big pointy at the top ones… they came again.. they walked around my area, nothing happened…
Saw this female out in the woods today.. she walked up to me.. looked and then turned her back. I took a picture..
they have just changed up on me again.. they came down 3 or 4 nights ago, didnt make a sound, I saw them through my window walking around,,, I went out in the morning to find I was surrounded by differnt effigies.. but in a pattern of sorts… the camera head was looking at me, the whiskey bottle was facing away from my house pointing toward the cave nearby, the weird triangle with like a cane at the top was in the middle of two of the connected at the tongue looking ones over by their prayer area.. facing me..
today, I went over by the triangle one, and went past it. a female and two males came over to me. I hit her and ran back to past the effigy, the female ran up, and jumped at me, landed short then turn and ran back toward the village with the men,, I have been going away from there now, and have not seen a thing of them,, they have not come at night since the effigy thing either…
I found this neat sketch map, someone did it up.. I added what I have so far to it…
What now?
Gotta be quite. its night, they are back. I just finished a few more sections of wall, and they are creeping around outside. They seem to be looking over my latest addition, they are not paying any attention to me, even though I am just in the cabin, looking out the window from the shadows…. God I hope they just go away…
Finally, they left. I am going to wait a bit and sleep… need rest.
Went out this morning and didnt go near their area.. as usual. I went East to get some wood.. have a little stock pile started over there, cut down one tree and brought it back, finished another wall section. Going fishing.
When will they stop!? They came down the hill behind the house as I got a fish… they saw me fishing… they ran right at me, some woman and two of the leaders.. the woman was odd, she was totally bald and naked.. she came at me hard, I hit her and one of the men tried to get behind me,, I ran into the ocean, they dont come out there for some reason, they yelled at me a bit, and left… I ran to the house.
Cooking my fish now…
THEY are coming!
THEY are coming,, I can see THEM they are here for me…..
THEY didnt attack. THEY walked around a bit and left. I went out and found this guy and girl waiting for me.. by the way they acted, I could tell they were trying to tell me something.. Is she a gift I tried to say.. I took a picture.
He suddenly became active and ran off… leaving her..
Ill keep her around for now…
Found they left some more of those effigies around the place to… My new girl.. I shall call her Tuesday, hehe, she still waits right where I told her to.
Went out for logs.. Tuesday was gone when I came back.. I dont know how I feel about this… I cant believe I am thinking this, but it gets lonely on my magazine bed at night….
It is finally done.
Got the ‘fort’ built. It took me long enough, besides the work, and me not going into the forest right behind the cabin, because THEY live there, and of course NEVER going out at night.. its done…
Looks odd huh? But its home for now.. Speaking of which, I know I cant count on this place staying safe. THEY are to close, THEY come around all the time.. I saw another area while I was out foraging. I am going to look at it closer, and maybe build another place there. Be good to have a second, maybe even safer place to go to.
Going to be lots of work though.. ha, like I have much else to do.
Got to make sure it has access to wood, food and love to have some fish close.. maybe the beach area will be a good fishing hole? Maybe it has a pond?
Tommorow I am going to the luggage area, hopefully there is still some to be found, maybe more washed up?
Then the next day its off to scout. Should only take the day to get there, look around and get back.
I dont want to be out there overnight…
I set up a camp, out at the new sight. It took some doing steeling myself to stay out there. But this morning THEY were all over outside, I have to take a chance and stay there so I can get more work done. This is the view.
Hope I have a quiet night.
Things I ve learned to make and do.
Bomb IED / Circuit board + Booze + Pocket change.
Stone Axe / Stone + stick
Molotov / Booze + cloth
Lizard Armor / Kill lizard, take skin, put on body.
Fishing / Find sharp stick by a pond. Equip it and go find fish. Very hard to hit fish with a stick. takes practice.
Walkman gives unlimited energy boost by listening to cheesy 80’s sounding music.
Put a fire at the bed end of the cabin. Puts you in a safe corner to observe the windows and door, and you can be right at your bed and cook, stay warm and dry. I put a bench there also.
My first hut was a one by one, one door, window to the right as you come in, and roof. Fire just to right as you come in and a shelter in it. Stood at the left cornor. Easy to defend, sleep, cook and warm and dry. Not so hot for long term, or really worked up natives. Easy to get on roof also and play aggravate the cannibal.
I have put fire sticks just outside the windows of the cabin, I can reach out and light them, and THEY dont come near the windows with them there and or burning.
Prayer trees. Stay away. Not good to build at.
Caves. JUST DONT DO IT.
Village. Can sneak in.
