Overview
In this guide I will be showing you almost all of the myths and legends and where you can find them. If I miss any myth or if you see anything leave a comment. Note: I do not own the investigation videos. All rights and ownership goes to them.

Myth: Bigfoot
Bigfoot is often described in-game as a little taller than CJ, deals massive damage, has a low-resolution texture, and is hard to kill. He can be found near the spot on the map that looks like a bigfoot foot.
Status: True
But he was removed before the game game out. Bummer.
Myth: The Shady Creek Creature
Speaking of lurking in the woods, lets talk about the Shady Creek Creature. The Shady Creek Creature is said to despawn when you get close to it, has a very dark almost black texture, and has a low quality model. He hides behind trees in Shady Creek.
I have no image of him because there is no real image of him close up. However, heres a video with proof of his existance:
Status: Unknown
Although there is a video of his existance, many other people and I are still not sure if he’s real or not. Investigate and see if you find anything. Tell me.
Myth: Serial Killer
There is said to be a serial killer in the game. He lives in a random house in the desert and its wooden with blood. You can also find body bags near his house. The house is empty. Its said that if you go to his house and he is there he will murder you with a knife or a chainsaw. He is said to have a black long leather coat and a black hat. I dont have any pictures of him or of his house, because steam said there was an error uploading both of the pictures. He’s on google images.

While this myth has been recorded and confirmed sometimes, it can be a mod. No one has really seen him yet, but the house, and then going to his house and hearing blood curdling screams and the fact that you hear scary music when you go to his house.
Myth: Leather Face
Leatherface is described to look the same as the Serial Killer. He does the same thing as the serial killer does but he doesnt have a house. Some say Leatherface is the Serial Killer disguised as another person to stay hidden from the police. It is not confirmed though.

Although there are not much sightings of him, I have seen him the last time ive played GTA:SA near Shady Creek near the cliff. He screams things such as “I’ll kill you!” and “You can’t hide!”
Myth: Ghost Cars
It is said that Ghost Cars spawn in woods and target the player and kill them by running them over, but there is no one in the car.
Status: Fake
These cars are in the game, but they move and kill you because they spawn near hills and they glitch causing them to move, making it appear as if it is trying to kill you.
Myth: CJ’s Mom’s Ghost
CJ’s mom died, and supposedly haunts the house.
Status: True

Myth: Zombies
It is supposed that zombies are in the game.
Zombotech is a weird spot because it claims to “Protect humanity from the sinister zombie virus.“
Status: Fake
While there is a guy that looks like a zombie in the game, hes just an ugly old guy. Nothing weird about him.
Myth: Ghost Train
There is a myth that the Ghost Train is a random train that comes out of nowhere and kills you. It also has blood on it.
Status: Unknown
There is not much proof or sightings on this myth, but heres an investigation video:
Myth: UFO’s
UFO’s are said to be in the game. They fly in the sky.
Status: True
This myth can be easy seen at night. Flashes in the sky. Also, there is a file in the game called “ufolight1.png”.
Myth: Mothman
Mothman is said to be very big and flies and where he flies accidents.
Status: Possible
There is not much evidence of his existance, but there are some weird things in the game that indicate to his existance, like weird large bird-like prints, and weird fur, possible moth fur around areas, and in a dark building there are red eyes, and a statue that is sculpted after Mothman in-game.
Myth: Biowell
There is a biowell in-game that kills you if you go in it.
Status: True
There is a biowell in the game in several locations but do not kill you.
