So you came. Here is why i made this.
Some people think a Guide about navy is useless. Bigger ship kill smaller ships aircraft kill the bigger ships yadayadada but… In game ships have they’re own special roles that they can perform. From sneaking arround the map to sniping fleets… Some people go as far to say that naval is usless. The nubs

NATOs (BLUEFORTs) Navy
So NATOs navy is pretty specialized at doing one thing. Artillery…
While having great guns and yes… The stealth ship…. it has Terrible CIWS and ship mounted antiship missiles
Most ships rely on defense missiles running out of ammo fast and.. getting sunk by anti ship missiles.
The antiship missiles are just… useless (on their own). only in packs and launching alot of them at the same time is the way they should be used. Unless you just want to waste missiles or got nothing else better to do.
The guns… The artilery…. instead of firing blind like the commies do they have a radar system on their guns.
Being Fast and Agile ambushing from the fog and surprising Ivan with a bunch of ships coming out of nowhere or… Engaging them from long range and blowing up their ships with long range artillery support from the sea to support your little friends in doing D-Day on Ivans doorstep.
PACTs (REDFORTs) Navy
Pacts navy… I call it the great moskit swarm …. being useless on the gun front they are great at on the antiship missile front. Takes at least 2 missiles to take out a moskit and 10 rounds from a CIWS minigun.
Antiship missiles. Dont you dare to take anything… BUT SHIPS WITH MOSKIT MISSILES… 1 tarantul can take out a Kongo with Moskit missiles . That Is All. (even though its like a 5% success rate)
CIWS front. Great, Lots of minguns mounted on it. Mini missiles to defend. But they can’t use their main guns to defend.
The guns are utter ♥♥♥♥, if you run out of missiles dont even try to engage or support land troops. You don’t have the accuracy or range to shoot without getting into their ATGM range.
Sniping with missiles, Making people rage as their navy fail at shooting down a Moskit.
Tanking damage. Doing great landings on the Capitalist Dog’s ground.
The Importance.
So many noobs people abandon the naval part of the map. While concentrating solely on land. If therse 1 competent player that can gain naval supperiority, while the enemy wrecking your team on land, you will be able to launch a naval invasion deep into enemy terriory (on some maps right into it). This naval invasion effectively ties down the enemy advance into your base as they will have to now devote most of their resources into driving you back into the sea, this will give your team a decisive advantage on their front and could decide the outcome of a battle. This will probably get you the title Hero of the Soviet Union match.
Ship classes
From huge destroyers to small gunboats, here I will explain what those ships specialize in.

———–NATO (BlueForts)———
Destroyers
The most valuable ships to any navy. Both dealer and receiver of cannon fodder
Kongo-The ship which is the most annoyng thing to any Pact player. A gun with 60% Accuracy and 8 HE will make them think twice before attacking this thing in its gun range. But… the thing has terrible defences against moskits, as mentioned before.
Hatsuyki-The bloody most hardest thing to spell.. Well if you cant afford the kongo you can bring this beauty. Yes its worse but you can actually afford it. Whats good about it? Well… it can tank most damage and the CIWS miniguns are in great positions
Lk
Frigates
La Baguette Fayette-Great gun. Fires 4 Anti-ship missiles in a volley. aka THE STEALTH SHIP. One slight drawback it has only 24 Croatales and it fires 2 of them to defend from one anti ship missile. You will run out of them quickly so…. try not to use this as an active combat ship.(Do Not copy the player named Shimekaze using La Fayettes as combat ships)
Oliver hazard perry- Fast firing gun has urm.. well 1 CIW minigun has alot of anti ship missiles and some long range Defence missiles. Problems? well Those missiles it has alot of those but they are TERRIBLE only fires 1-2 in a volley. Only 14 defence missiles and the gun has almost no range.
Type21- Its British other than that? TERRIBLE NEXT
Fremantle- Its the cheapest capital ship. Only thing its good at is capturing zones that are uncontested, since its got no defense at all. although its more recommended to just shuttle command infantry to the zone if there are islands on it.
Fun fact: Its named after the port in the city where Schmitt lives (Perth)
Corvettes
Po Hang- This is a great ship for its cost. It could operate without destroyer support, has a long range CIWS minigun, anti ship missiles (2 harpoons, I wish you good luck with using those) 2 guns are great. Problem well those 2 harpoons are waste of a weapons slot and it has no AA missiles meaning planes will get away scot free from attacking this ship.
Pegasus- Basicly the Oliver Hazard Perry without the health or any Ciws but is the fastest ship in the game problems? no ciws and its a joke of a ship.
Dong Hae – Its an AA ship but it has no CWIS, so just dont get too close with this thing.
Cham-Su-Ri- Great escort ship yet i prefer the Po hang. Problems? well it cant really escort fast ships and the Ciws range is pathetic.
Baek-Ku – Its a land support ship meant to support land it trades away its ciws for 12 great AA missiles which cant hit ♥♥♥♥.
Gunboats
STRB 90 H- Its a great Scout ship in Sea only battles and a great land support as those ATGMS are great for sniping tanketes
Monitor 105 – Arty ship . NEXT
Mintor Zippo- slow as hell but.. its the ulitimate ship killer it can kill an Udaloy/Sovrementy in about 30 seconds if you can even manage to get it that close.
LCU 1610- A fast lander refitted to supply the frontline ships.
——–Pact (Redfort)———
Destroyers
Udaloy II- Many peapole pick this over the sovrementy. Why? beacause it has better ECM and Air detection but… i like the sovrementy better beacause this ship has 1 gun platfrom instead of 2 also has Tors as air defense . But the good thing about its the toughest ship in the game also 4 Ciws miniguns.
Sovrementy – Ah the battleship of the game 2 gun platfrom Buks as defence great recon ability but only 2 ciws minguns and 20% ECM over the 40% the Udaloy gets, still just enough to dodge missiles.
Luda- Somehow a destroyer but whatever . It has great antiship missiles no missile defence and
of course the guns are terrible.
Frigates
Janghiu-III – Basically the Oliver Hazard Perry but better in some ways
Najin- The Po-hang but with a better gun
Corvettes
Tarantul-II – The best Anti ship … ship? in the game great moskits great everything except… the ♥♥♥♥ AA defence …. i mean come on a strela 2 isn’t gonna stop a damn plane.
Nanushka-III – You trade away the moskits for a less range missile which does less damage. Its armed with Osas instead of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Strelas. It has more hitpoints everything else is the same
Hujian- Strictly a sniping ship great defence against anti ship missiles Why? BECAUSE IT ONLY HAS AA GUNS.
Gunboats
Moskit- No not the missile, the Ship. Somehow its marked as a corvette but its a gunboat. its basicly a stolen american torpedo boat from ww2 refit to carry Missiles. Fires all of them at once, great for being a shotgun ship.
Komar- err…. can be used as a scout ship…. I guese?
Shanghai- An aa Gunboat… its in the name. NEXT
Chong-Ju – its an MLR ship. definetly dont use this against ships (as I see some people do) its got like a 5% hit rate against ships and the rest will be landing in the water. Also did i mention not to use it against ships?
Shimel- Cheaper version of the chong-ju
Shantou- a waste…
Muna- A fishing boat refit to be a Supply ship.

So since the Gun are ♥♥♥♥ might aswell use those Tarantuls.
Spam them. Make sure to have them launching in sync as that would give the enemy more targets they need to kill. after they launch turn their weapons off so you wont waste anymore. then find a new target and LAUNCH THEM ALL AGAIN
Zat failed? Well it never fails Hide behind a land mass and engage at close range your guns are “shotgun like” terrible accuracy but do alot of damadge at close range since the enemy CWIS has a lot less time to react to them.

Since the guns are great but the Missiles are awful…
The great artilery barrage- Park your ships behind a line of Po-hangs/Cham-ru-si. And start blasting away.
The sky train- Great at the start will Destroy a ship each strike maybe even 2. But you will always highly likely sink a ship . So always try to aim for the most high value targets.
The ambush- get 1-3 zippos Hide behind an island since Napalm dose 1 bar of damadge to light armoured targets.. like ships . They will kill that udaloy2/sovrementy. In 30 seconds.
You might also need a distraction since as soon as the zippos open up they will receive a face full of lead and phosphrus.
—BOTH—
Snipe the enemy spawn ship- Get 1-2 anti-ship planes sneak them around the battlefield. Since anti ship planes can spot ships. As soon as its spoted Launch the Missiles and gtfo. You just made them loose spawning for 3-6 minutes.
Clusters- Planes/MLRS will damadge the enemy ship due to its an armored target. also might block its route of retreat since the water will be burning.
Artilery- MLRS will panic the enemy ships or damage them. but its not worth the supplies. Tube artilery is more accurate but if that the ship moves you have to predict the bloody direction. Napam will do aswell.
SEAD planes- Since ships use radar you can use sead planes to take them out since they cant use the ciws to block it you can damadge it ligthly
ATGM- Same as SEAD missiles.
Laser guided bombs- Great they will not miss and always hit the ship. And if you’re flying in the nighthawk at least give it some protection, like a cheap fodder plane in front.
