How to achieve neglect achievement?

this is the neglect achievement.
location:
when you come to Greenpath for the first time, right to the BOSS hornet place in Greenpath
you will see a monster biting Zote. If you attack the monster, it will drop Zote and fight with you
if you neglect that and continue to adventure, after some time, Zote will be found dead at the same place, only with bones left:
go near, attack the skull, and then the achievement will be unlocked.

Potential questions

though I’ve unlocked the achievement by luck, there are still several questions left:
1. How long do you have to wait before Zote dies?
I achieve that at at ralatively late period of the game, after I got the train pass and unlocked the Ancient Basin and Kindom Edge area, yet the precise time is yet unknown
My speculation is that if you igore Zote on both Greenpath and Deepnest site, you will find him dead.
2. Will there be any influences to the story and endings?
Unknown. I happened to achieve that in the first round.
Zote doesn’t show up in the arena until you save him on both encounters (Greenpath and Deepnest), so Rivalry becomes impossible in this round.
Similarily, Purity / Happy Couple are the achievements that also force a 2nd playthrough.
