!!!Spoilers included!!!

how to start

How to start the story in nightmare mode:
Create a new save file and WITHOUT JOINING YET press F (advanced settings). Then you need to choose nightmare mode.

How to know if you done it right:
Go to the save but don’t join it.You can see in the right side of the screen the information about the save,it should say (reward) next to the difficulty.

about the nightmare mode

About the nightmare mode:

1.When a player activates Nightmare, unlimited fighting stamina is disabled and enemies are tougher.
More Virals and Volatiles will attack if noise is made.
Furthermore, weapons and other tools will break down faster.

2.If Crane is killed, all legend points are lost. But the upside is that legend point gain is significantly increased.

3.Night time is especially dangerous, only for the most serious players!

4. A new melee weapon rarity is available to be found on Nightmare mode, you have 1/100 chance of finding fantasy gold-tier weapons from Hard chests, GRE chests in Quarantine Zones, Police Vans and towers in Countryside.

5.Enemies receive even greater health and damage.

6.Vendors start selling ammunition and materials.

7.Easter eggs can’t be used on Nightmare mode, although EXPcalibur still seems to be still usable.

8.You no longer have infinite combat stamina on Nightmare mode. The Agility stamina remains infinite, you can run indefinitely without getting tired, however certain Agility skills will drain stamina, such as Tackle, Drop Kick and etc. Although this can be easily countered by consuming stamina boosters.

9.Unlike Hard mode where Flashlight has realistic battery as it slowly starts dimming the longer you use, this feature is removed on Nightmare mode, therefore you can use Flashlight infinitely as it will no longer start dimming overtime.

10.You receive 10% experience buff per player in Co-Op.

11.Enemies especially Evolved Volatiles have extremely high health on Nightmare mode, especially if it’s Nightmare+, it’s ill-advised to take them on alone.

12.Decreased chance of finding higher quality tier weapons compared to Normal mode, in order to compensate the chance of finding gold-tier weapons. This means you’ll be seeing blue and green rarity melee weapons more commonly.

13.Nights are even longer than Hard mode.

14.The Stasis Field Projector cannot be used.

REWARDS

About the rewards:

1.If you didn’t complete the game on hard mode previously you will get the hard rewards .
2.You will get 4 skins at the completion of the game.

and best for the last
SOME BRAIN DAMAGE

info about the run

About the run:
You are going to run from zombies 90% of the time ur playing.
Fireworks are ur best friend.
The only enemies you have to fight are Tahir and the demolisher (in missions)
THE FIRST TIME YOU SEE A WEAPON TAKE IT,ITS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS GAME,WITHOUT A WEAPON ITS GONNA BE 10 TIMES HARDER TO COMPLETE IT.(also try to not waste ammo )

all the game explained

Lets get started.

First couple of missions are just running missions or go to places.
pro tip: avoid fighting
another pro tip: when you need to set the car traps use fireworks.
You can obtain the blueprint for fireworks from missions.

The big boy part (when ur put in the arena and u need to fight the demolisher)

I call this,as a legend says “double-boss”.
In the first “wave” of the mission you need to fight a couple of normal zombies. You can abuse the grappling skill and throw zombies in the spikes.

Now the first real boss that you are going to fight,The demolisher.
First you need to break his helmet so you can do the most damage.
Wait for him to do his attacks and hit him, while he charges try to make him him the walls or the crates so you can do some free damage to him.

-next part of the game

every time a horde of zombies comes at you use the fireworks.
the fireworks are ur best friend
basically fireworks the entire game
also if you see human enemies try not to fight them unless you have to.

The second boss

Tahir, everybody loves some old tahir right? yeah me neither…

When fighting him try to dash his attacks and only focus on him even tho some enemies are also spawning.
If you run out of durability for ur weapon there are many weapons in the bags around the room.

(You might die many times)

The rest of the game is basically firework abuse and and running away from zombies,so..GG you did it!
