Overview
Interactive map (“Google Map style”) of Ori and the Will of the Wisps in web browser. All cells, items, secrets… are shown on the map to help you finding what you’re looking for!
Presentation and link
This application is an Interactive map of the world of Ori and the Will of the Wisps, working in your web browser (a bit like Google Maps).
It features the full Niwen map, and everything interesting about it: collectibles, interesting locations…
English, French, Russian and German are available – it normally loads the “best” language for you. (If you speak fluently another language and want to help to the translation, do not hesitate to propose your help!)
How to use
You can drag the map (with your mouse or your finger) to explore it, and zoom in/out with scroll wheel, fingers or buttons at the top right.
Keep in mind that the entire map is displayed: so you may better avoid it if you do not want to get spoiled about what is to discover!
By default, nothing is displayed on the map. To display what you want, you have to select elements in the left menu (according to the screenshot)
Putting custom markers and routes
You can place your own markers and your own routes, so they will be displayed on your map – and also saved, so they will stay there when you close the page!
This is useful for speedrunning, or if you want to note a particular location.
To place a marker, click on “Add a marker” in the left menu, then click on the map when you want to place the marker. You will be prompted for a marker icon and a name.
To place a route, this is a bit more complicated. Click on “Add a route” in the left menu.
A route consists of several lines, separated by points. Click on the map where you want to put those points (do not get surprised if you don’t see anything: this is normal).
When you want to place the last point, click and hold where you want to place the last point. You will be prompted for the color of the route and a name.
Here is what I mean (yeah, that’s a sketch made quite quickly ^^)
Suggestions (and bug reports)
If you think something is missing on this map and should be, do not hesitate to write your feedback!
In the same idea, do not hesitate to report the eventuals bugs you may encounter – despite some polishing was made 😉
