[No longer works anymore, Read Info as to why] How to use Tencent dub + use English language (Or your native language)

Overview

( I regret to inform you guys that Tencent no longer supports Paladins, So there will be no more updates to this guide, Or unless they will do dubs from different languages, Until then, This will remain outddated until this is fixed or Tencent supports this game again, Sorry for the sudden stop :c )Have you ever wanted to hear the Chinese dub on Paladins but wanted to keep the English or any other language? You don’t like the English dub? And just want to hear a different language instead?Perhaps you want to hear the Chinese dub to feel like a Chinese Anime? You wanted to hear what the Chinese dub sounds like for yourself?Do you have a thing for different language like Japanese and Chinese dubs and just like to use it and can’t just understand it? (…Like me?)There’s a way to now use Chinese dub and still use your native language! If you met these questions, Or anything related to that… Then this tutorial is the perfect place to get it, And very simple too~

Reminder: (Though it’s pretty obvious)

ALWAYS backup the files for incase anything happends, You can just simply replace it back.

I’m not responsible if you don’t back up CHN folders.

You can’t make it so some people speak English or some Chinese, It’s entirely the dub itself, So if you expect Fernando to speak English still, It dosen’t really work like that.

Also…
Moji in Chinese is fùckïng adorable! You’d have to listen for yourself

What language is what:

This still works with any language you still use besides English. So I’ll list down on what you can port over to CHN still

English: INT & DEB(?)
Chinese: CHN & CHT (CHT uses English Dub]
Japanese: JPN
Korean: KOR
Russia: RUS
German: DEU
French: FRA
Spanish: ESL & ESN
Portuguese: POR
Polish: POL
Turkish: TUR

As of right now, English and Chinese only have region voices.

To get started….

For anyone wanting to use English: (But still works with other languages just different words.)

The files you’d want to go to is by going here:

SteamsteamappscommonPaladinsChaosGameLocalization
As shown here:

To look for the English version of the language is INT

Go inside the INT Folder and be sure to copy .INT Folders, Back them up incase.:
Rename both .INT and Lang_INT to .CHN and Lang_CHN.
After all that’s done, Now put the files to CHN folder

Aaaand that’s it!

And there ya have it, You have the full Chinese dub of Paladins!

Be sure to also type Language=CHN in the options on Hi-Rez Paladins launcher

If you want the English dub to come back, Just simply remove Language=CHN from your launch options from Hi-Rez Paladins launcher.

If you don’t have the Chinese folder…

…Which probably most of you possibly might have this issue.
But if you already have it looking like this:
Then you can ignore this section entirely~

I have provided a link for you to download, They are located on the lower section,

And have fun~

Example:
.JPN to .CHN
And
.RUS to .CHN

Q: Is this safe?
A: Yes, This is safe to do. You’re just changing the language to English, Since you’re forced to read Chinese language when using the Chinese dub

Q: What about English dub with Chinese language?
A: Just use Language=CHT

Q: It dosen’t work when I import them!
A: Make sure you back track and double check that is being said on the tutorial.

Q: I hear nothing from the Chinese dub, Just sound!
A: You might want to reinstall or verify cache, It usually downloads the whole thing and includes the Chinese dub folders.

Q: The new update made the chinese language come back!
A: Simple, Just repeat the same steps and all done. It’s just part of the update. you’d have to update it.

Q: Does this work on SMITE too?
A: No unfortunaly, SMITE only has English dub.

Q: Do you understand Japanese and/or Chinese?
A: No. But I wish

Although everyone has a chinese dub, Not entirely all, Especially if new characters are announced, new costumes. They’ll either be silent or just be left in English, But you’ll still hear most of the champions in Chinese
