Pros and Cons
New Patch:
Pros:
– Buffed Remote VPN and Backdoor Hacks to get more DOS Coins.
– Nerfed Lucas. (time to hide 10 sec)
Cons:
– Lucas Threat level will increase with hashes AND hacking. So if you get hacked 5-10 times and you have 0-1 hashes found Lucas will come to kill you.
– Hackfarm delay 20 sec.
Old Patch:
Pros:
– No hack delay so you can farm DOS coins easy.
– Lucas only gets triggered when you found 2 or more hashes.
Cons:
– No buffed Remote VPN and Backdoor Hacks. (who cares you can hackfarm easy coins)
– Only 5 seconds to hide when Lucas lockpicks.
How to Download the Old Patch?
1. Open your browser and type steam://open/console in link bar
2. In Console type this command: download_depot 720250 720251 6788389228187769585
3. Wait…
4. Go Your Steam Folder/steamapps/content/app_720250 and copy your depot.
5. Go Your Steam Folder/steamapps/common and paste the depot folder here.
6. Delete Welcome to the Game II Folder.
7. Rename depot folder to Welcome to the Game II.
8. Start the game from steam or desktop icon if you have.
To check go find 1 hash and then go dead page like Black Market, **** You, DEDO, Corposes For Sell……. There are more dead pages (DO NOT MAKE MISTAKE WITH CLOSED PAGES, Closed pages are opened only in a certain time). If you can spam hack (free wifi then reflesh) without 20 seconds delay after every hack you have the old patch. You’re done!
All Threats
Noir:
When you find the first hash or it’s 10:20 or late the noir will open your window.
You need to watch for the noir (window and balcony) every 5-10 mins if you don’t want to get killed.
There are 5 lights. If you turn off 1 light the noir will be 20% more aggressive. 2 lights = 40%, 3 lights = 60%, 4 lights = 80%, all turned off lights = 100%. So Don’t do it. If you want you can turn off the near to closet lamp and near to the kitchen. If Lucas comes you need to turn off first next to door lamp then next to your computer then the bathroom lamp. When Lucas leaves turn again these lamps. If you have lamps turned off watch for the Noir often from 5-10 mins -> 2-3 mins.
Police:
Disconnect from WiFi to not get tracked:
Free WiFi: 2 – 5 mins
WEP WiFi: 5 – 10 mins
WPA/WPA2 WiFi: 10 – 15 mins
Don’t buy police scanner. It gives a fake alerts and gives you real alert too late…
Lucas:
You need to hear for lockpicking sound but it’s quiet. When you hear this sound you have 5 sec to hide. Good idea is to buy motion sensors 1 for the Hallway Door and 1 for the Elevator. When you are collecting money for sensors don’t search hashes if you don’t want to get encountered by Lucas.
If you don’t turn off your lights and pc he will roam your apartment for 4-5 mins. If you don’t turn off pc he will steal some DOS coins and 50% chance to delete all your notes. Turn off your pc and if you have time turn the lights off. If you place your motion sensors near to your door you will not have much time to react. And remember Lock your door!
Breather:
First time he will not come to kill you and you can get your VPN and if you are purchased sensor or something. If you are not clicked on Shadow or zeroDay market the VPN could not been sent to your location. So The Breather can kill you 100% if you are going down without clicking the markets. When you spawn in the alley if you head hard footsteps or giggles you are sure The Breather will come for you 100%. If you don’t hear footsteps or giggles you need to go to the storage room and right click on the door to wait. If you are watching the window the breather will see you and hide. He will wait you to leave the storage room and will kill you. So just right click and wait 1-2 mins. If you are not hearing footsteps or breathing you can leave. If you hear footsteps you need to watch the door. You have 0.5 sec to react when the door moves. You can use cheats (look at the cheat section) to increase this time. When the breather leaves wait 3-4 mins because he is waiting and can trick you.
Doll Maker:
If you click on the doll maker website he will come after 10 mins. You will hear a doll song and if you want you can check the peekhole. After that he will cut your energy so you need to go and turn it back. And when you return he will jumpscare you with his knife telling you he need a woman for transformation. You need LOLPY DISC to know which apartment has woman. You have 1 hour time. He can jumpscare you everywhere just turning around and he catches you.
Hacking tips
To get more DOS Coins you can hackfarm in this patch without delay. You need to wait 10:20 or find one hash. Click on website and look at the window if it opens you have found one hash. Buy backdoors. You can minimize ANN when you are opened dead link and move it next to the wifi icon. Open zeroDay market and move it next to the ANN. Now you can buy backdoors and hackfarms.
Fail zoneWall click only on green spots. You will get harder hacks and more DOS Coins.
Cheats
* For some cheats you will need Cheat Engine 6.4
Time Cheat:
1. Open Cheat Engine
2. Go to processes and inject to WTTG2.exe
3. Go to speedhack
4. Make 1.00 to 0.25
Pro Tip: You can use this for the hacks to get more time. And for the breather to get 2 sec reaction time rather than 0.5 sec
Free DOS Coins:
1. Open Cheat Engine
2. Inject WTTG2.exe
3. For the values change 4 bytes to Float value
4. Enter your DOS Coins. If you have VPN active that will not work because the coins will change every second
5. Wait
6. Change your DOS (buy 1 backdoor hack thats cheapest way)
7. Enter new value
8. You need to have 3 values left
9. Double left click on each one
10. Change every value by clicking at the number. (all 3 values need to be equal)
11. Buy something
Microphone disable without more difficult game elements:
1. Right click on sound icon on the taskbar
2. Go to recording devices
3. Right click on your microphone and hit disable
4. You can enable it again when you are not playing
Free hashes:
1. You need to find 1 hash
2. Go exploring some websites. Look at the window if it opens search hash on the website
3. When you found the hash you don’t need the number (Example 5 – asdasd123123 will be asdasd123123 without the 5)
4. Go to SystemDrive/Users/YourName/AppData/LocalLow/Reflect Studios/Welcome to the Game II/
5. Open WTTG2.gd with WordPad or Notepad++
6. Ctrl + F
7. Type your first hash
8. Here’s your 8 hashes 🙂
